Embraced by Darkness

One of the book I'm reading now is Embraced by Darkness. Actually I've been reading this book a little at a time as the weeks progress. I need a break from writing every once and a while. Anyways....Its the fifth book is a series and is told through the eyes of Riley Jenson. I've been trying to finish this series for what feels like forever since discovering it in my sophomore year of high school. I'm pretty determined to finish this series or at least read as much as I can. Also I want to know if Riley finds her soul mate and how the heck she came across him. Anyways, our main lady is actually on vacation when you start out the book. She pretty much needs time to wind down after a certain mission. I wish I could remember what it was but its been a while since I read the book. Anyways, Riley is on vacation and then she gets summoned by her old pack leader. Apparently his granddaughter went missing and he wants Riley to find her. Riley doesn't want to, but she starts investigating anyways. So she asks around and doesn't find much. She ends up going home and spends time with her main lover. He actually ends up asking her to go exclusive and she kind of freaks. Apparently its a big deal when werewolves go exclusive and she just doesn't think she is ready. But she promises to think about it and ends up getting in an accident shortly after. I knew things would get interesting in this book quick. So until next time.....

 Well, I have been reading this book on and off and I am happy to say that I'm almost done with it. It feels like a whole lot has not happened in the book, but a lot actually did. Riley gets of vacation and she is thrown into a case. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned all of this before, but it doesn't hurt to repeat myself. Anyways, the case she in thrown into is bad. Like there are body parts everywhere bad. Then she has the whole disappearances she has to look into. So you can say her plate is full. Did I mention that her life is being threatened as well. The girl just can't catch a break. Anyways, it looks like she keeps hitting a dead ended with both cases. Also her lover, Kellen keeps asking her to commit to only him and give up her job. She loves the idea, but she just can't do it. Something is holding her back and I maybe peeked at the end, she might not be wrong about her hesitation. So, she solves one case and fights the bad spirit that is just more than happy to continue killing. Even put up a fight when they try to contain him back in his grave so that way no more people have to be ripped apart. That was a tough one for Riley. Then she goes out and almost gets killed when she is attacked once again with Kellen. This is where he admits that it put him in the realization that he may have a few things to think over as well. That is pretty much where I left off. You guys can go get the book and find out the ending yourselves. I'm off to wrap up this book and get a whole new one.
