Son of No One has names that I can't remember how to pronounce or spell,
so I will just call our two main characters Jo and Cade. Jo being the
leading lady and Cade being the leading male. Both nicknames are also
used through out the book because it probably was easier on the reader.
Anyways, Jo is a skeptic when it comes to the supernatural and she falls
in some hard times. In desperate times she agrees to take a job as a
camera woman for her cousin's paranormal show. Or, at least I think it
was her cousin's. Anyways, while working she somehow gets sucked in
another dimension through a mirror. Right away she is attacked by demons
and saved by our leading male character Cade. The whole entire time she
thinks she is either dead or dreaming because she is being skeptical
about these things. With that thought in mind, she ends up doing some
things with Cade that she didn't think she would do when she was awake.
Sadly, Cade explains to her that she isn't dreaming and tries to get her
home. Only problem is that, he can't. So Cade has to make a deal with
the enemy in hopes to find a way to return Jo home. In the process they
make a new friend/comrade. Then somehow Jo and Cade get their bodies
switched and its an adventure trying to fix all of that. Eventually they
succeed but Cade then breaks out in full demon mode and Jo some how
gets home. But she demands to go back and save Cade from himself. After a
few arguments and resistance, Jo gets her way and turns Cade back to
being human with just a kiss. Nothing like true love's kiss to bring
someone back from a killing rampage. Then they are back together again
and they are able to bring Cade back into Jo's dimension. Then this is
when I start wondering how long they have actually been together because
if I calculated it correctly, it has only been about five days to a
week. But anyways, he proposes to Jo and she accepts. Thorn then reveals
something that makes me read over at least three times. Just like the
time when Cade explained to Jo on why she could wield his shield. Then
everyone lives happily ever after. Well at least for now because
everyone has this feeling that something huge is on their way. The story
I highly enjoyed and I'm a little sad that it ended so soon. I love
Sherrilyn Kenyon's book a lot and none of them have disappointed me
really. Well there might have been one or two. But who is really
counting? I also have a feeling that this series is slowly coming close
to an end, which makes me sadder. I've been reading this series for so
long that it has become such a huge part of my life now. What would I do
without it? Pray for me guys.
