Started reading At Any Price by Brenna Aubrey
I'm stuck. So what better way to get rid of writer's block then read a ebook on my computer. Its a quick read and it will give my brain a rest from the constant writing. So as usual I know nothing about the book other then the name and author. Everything is based off first impressions, what I think of the book halfway, and then as a whole. Three posts. Thats all you are getting. Unless the book is like super long or taking me forever to read. Figured I'd go over the rules again, just to remind myself more then anyone else. Remember its been a while. So far first impression is that I'm sensing a romance, which seems to be my main choice of genre when it comes to everything. All I got so far from the first few pages is that our leading lady, Mia sold her virginity to the highest bidder that fit her needs. Prediction, she either falls in love with a multi-millionaire or her best friend that helped her go through all of this. But I have to read to find out. So until next time......
Almost there and contests?
Believe it or not, I'm almost caught up with writing. I say it will probably take me two or three more days until I'm at the desirable amount. Which means I can go back to reading soon. That makes me so happy. I miss my books. Anyways, I forgot to mention that I'm going to be at the edge of my seat for the next few days. I entered Donny into a contest. Like its a legit contest and its the first time I ever did something like that. Sure there were contests where the prize is bragging rights and what not. This time around there is a pretty cool price and I'm all for winning a chance to get a literary agent. It would make my life so much easier at getting published. Anyways, but I have to wait until my grandmother's birthday in order to find out if I became a finalist. Then the real work begins where people vote for their favorite story. Down side, there is only 500 words that they are going to read and judge. And, only five people get chosen to be a finalist out out thousands, maybe even millions of entries. It makes me nervous just thinking about it. I'm pretty confident in Donny, but there are people who are probably way more talented then I am that will make the cut. Either way I'm nervous and just anxiously waiting for the list to come out. Like I'm so ready to get this over with that I check once a day to see if they put it up early. Its like ripping a band-aid off right now, but we are doing it as slow as possible. Fingers crossed that these next few days go by fast. So until next time....

I miss reading
Reading doesn't take as much energy as writing. With writing you have to come up with a story and use your creativity nonstop. I'm going to be mentally drained by the end of the week. I'm also never letting myself fall so fricken behind ever again. Anyways, good news is, I'm almost caught up. Also things are getting serious in Donny. I'm happy with how this book it turning out. Now if only my family would stop judging with the fact that I listen to Kpop when I write. It is just so motivating. If I didn't have it, I wouldn't have gotten as far as I am in the past few days. Its working for me. That is all that matters. Anyways, I'll eventually go back to reading. I'll probably request books that are short in order for me to catch up faster. I would love to read the books I've been reading, but they are thinkers and that takes me forever. Even when you have an author try to explain the book to you and what his vision is is not helping me. But the effort is very much appreciated. Anyways, I'm going to head back to writing. Just thought I'd give an update with my progress. I have previews up to chapter five up for Donny. Don't be afraid to tell me what you think of it so far. Also its hard to believe that I've been with Adsense for a year now. They are probably wondering why they even invested in me. I'm just kidding. I'm avoiding going back to writing as much as possible. I need to sleep a week, or so how it feels, after all of this. So until next time......

Still haven't gone back to reading
Its not like I don't want to read, but right now my focus is still trying to catch up with NaNoWriMo. I keep putting it off and I'm way behind. Like I'll never reach my goal until February behind. But I did post the preview to chapter three. So I am at least making some progress. I deserve a round of applause for that. Hopefully I'll get some reading done before the new year, but since its such a hectic time for all of us with Thanksgiving and Christmas and what ever other holiday everyone celebrates. No one is going to get anything done is all I'm saying. Unless you are one of those people that make others think you are a superhero or something awesome. I envy those people because I'm the worst multitasker and I get way too distracted by other things. Like YouTube when I want to listen to Kpop to motivate me. Then I get into the music videos because the dancing is cool, and then I don't get any writing done. I need a Kpop CD for my birthday or Christmas. Speaking of birthday. I had no idea that time was going by so fast that my birthday is next week Thursday. I'm going to be 24. Its scary. Just as scary as going to the doctors to get tested for hypoglycemia, which I still haven't done. I'm going to avoid it as much as I can. I think the only time I'm actually going to get tested is when I finally pass out in the bathtub while showering. Or, my mom sets the appointment for me. I'm a terrible person and so not independent. But I live with my mom to save up for the big move out east. So I might as well use it to my advantage. Right? Anyways, I'm going to head out. I only wanted to let you all know what is going on lately. Nothing much. Just me not writing Donny like I should. So until next time......

Catch up post
So I'm reading two books at once. Why? Because I had no idea taking four days off from doing anything would put me so fricken behind. I'm like three books behind my reading goal for this year. I'm ten thousand words behind for NaNoWriMo. And you guys are probably wondering where I have been. I know I posted earlier today, but I thought I'd explain a little bit more on what has been going on the past four days. For those that have been following my facebook, I went to Illinois for a few days. Why? Because there is a group of guys who's concert I never miss. And since I haven't seen them for like six months, I went with my mom to go see them. I'll also be seeing them again next month for their Christmas show. If you don't know who I'm talking about when I only mention that they had a show in Illinois and another one in Wisconsin next month, then we have a problem. I'm just kidding. I went to see All Time Low. I love those guys and I'm a huge fan of them as people. Those guys can put a smile on me face no matter what. But anyways, I stayed at a hotel where the internet wasn't free. So I couldn't post or anything. I did pack a book, but I was too tired the day we arrived because I worked the day before and stayed up in order to direct my mom to the hotel. I pretty much passed out as soon as we got into the room. The next day was show day, so I didn't get anything done that day. Nothing gets done when its a day of All Time Low. They have my complete attention for a whole fricken day because they deserve it. Anyways, sadly while I was at their show I had a bit of an incident. I nearly fainted because apparently I was low on blood sugar. Scared the crap out of me because something like that never happens to me during a concert. So the next day my mom decided instead of going to Milwaukee for Sleeping with Sirens, we were going home. Sad face. She wanted me to get check out to see if I have Hypoglycemia, which she explained to me is like diabetes but just the opposite. So I came home and sulked for a few days. But now I'm reading and writing like my life depends on it. I will do a post on the books I'm reading as soon as I can. Right now my main focus is to get caught up on my writing. Because that is my passion and I want to join the world of my favorite authors. So until next time......
Hey guys
I know I haven't been posting as much as I should. But its NaNoWriMo and my focus has been mainly on that. I still read every once in a while, but not enough to actually make a post. Also I was gone for a few days. I went to see my favorite people and then I came home early to see the doctor. While I was away I almost fainted for no reason and it had my mom highly concerned. Only because something like that never happens to me. So we have to get it checked out and find out if I have a medical condition that needs instant attention. My mom thinks I have something that my uncle has. Its a big word, so I'm not even going to try to spell it. But I'll try to update as much as I can during the month. I'll probably be posting a preview of chapter three soon for Donny. Maybe even a post on a book I'm reading. But I'll try to post more. Sorry for disappearing on you guys, I'll try to improve. So until next time......

Started reading Devil in the Hole by Charles Salzberg
My boss is currently working me to the bone and I haven't gotten a chance to get to the library. My holds are most likely expired by now. Which kind of makes me sad. So I'm stuck with the books I have at home. Like Devil in the Hole. I'm not sure what this book is about but from what I'm getting by the few pages I read. Its either a thriller or a murder mystery. But I know that this is the time of year where I hardly read at all. NaNoWriMo is starting, or started. Depends on when you read this post and where you are in the world. I'm going in with two chapters of Donny finished, well a prologue and a chapter. But the prologue still counts as a finished chapter in my book. Anyways, back to talking about the book. So far we have this house. Very observant of me. The lights are always on but one goes out every few days. It got to the point that the neighbor got worried and drove his wife crazy with his theories on what was happening. They call the police. Police show up. Investigate. Then find that everyone in the house is dead. Even the dog is dead. And that is where I pretty much left off. Its pretty interesting so far. Hopefully I can learn a little more about the book. But with my sudden love for K-pop, that is most likely not going to happen. But I'll try. So until next time.......
