Hey there Bookies,
I take back what I said about this book being a quick read. Of course, at the time I didn't plan on falling back into the pit of Kdramas either. Or, the fact that I started watching Attack on Titan. I need to stop doing that or I'll never reach my reading goal again.
My first reaction with the book is that it was okay with in the first few chapters. Nothing special. City girl leaves home for a job in a small town. Or, at least close to it. But I did like the old lady that our lead female is renting from. I wish all old ladies were like her in real life. Maybe then my grans would be a little less judgey. Anyways, once I got to the grocery store scene, I couldn't help but feel like that the character was so much like I was. Come one, it's the best scene ever so far. Only because I could see myself encounter a hot guy and destroy a display just like our lead female character did. I would follow it to the very last detail. It just makes it that much more interesting to find out what other crazy things this girl is going to end up doing when the hot guy is around. Maybe get lost to the point of a herd of cows going by your car with the hot guy following on horseback. I wonder how this is all going to play out.
So until next time.......

Started reading Back In The Saddle by K.F. Breene
Hey there Bookies,
I'm putting myself through a lot of pain just to give you guys an update. Don't feel guilty because I'm doing this out of my own free will. My doctor is going to hate me. Anyways, I have some good news and some bad news. Good news is that I found my missing library book You Against Me. Bad news is that it has to go back and I can't renew it. So until I can get my hands on it again, I'm going through all of my kindle books because I have over 300 of them and I'm not allowed any new books until I read some of them. I stopped following other book blogs for this reason since they know where to find the free stuff and I don't.
The recent book that I read was one that I said I finished but didn't actually finish. Oops. That book was called At Any Price. A book about a gamer girl who sells herself in hopes to save her mom's ranch from foreclosure. Only problem is that her world and views get turned upside down the moment she meets the owner and creator of the game she loves very much. Has a little bit of a slow beginning but does pick up once she starts feeling things she wants to deny. I do look forward to the next book in that series. Now if only I'm allowed to buy it.
I pretty much have all of my Ebooks in order by the alphabet. I just finished the A's and I have moved on to the B's. Making my first book Back In The Saddle. I think there are two authors for this book, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. But the Ebook I have says that the author is K.F. Breene. I haven't heard of this author nor of this series. So I'm in for a treat. Especially when I don't even know how I got this book. I really need to pay more attention to my spending habits. But this book only has a little over 200 pages, so I'm expecting a quick read. Might as well jump into it since I have nothing else to do at work since writing Rebellious Love hurts like hell. My wrist needs to heal.
So until next time.......

Update time!!!
Hey there Bookies,
Sorry for being MIA for a while. Things aren't going well with my wrist injury. So typing is a bit difficult lately. Also, I may have misplaced my library book that I was reading recently and that is kind of bad. I have to find that as soon as possible. I also know that after I make this post, I will have to make a small video update full of words of apology to post on my youtube channel because I'm also neglecting that as well. I've been in a small mood lately and am currently writing to get out of if. Reason why my wrist is going all to hell. Also, it's kind of hard for me to get any work done because of my big puppy Kaito, who requires all of my attention in his little world. I would leave a picture of him on here if I actually had one on my computer and not my phone. Note to self, put pictures on my computer. But I'm going to head out for now. Sorry for the long delay. I'll try to update as soon as I can.

Started Reading You Against Me by Jenny Downham
Hey there Bookies,
Still injured here. But at least I am seeing the doctor that I need to in order to get well. Finally. Anyways, I'll make this quick and short so I don't cause more injury to my wrist.
I actually tried to read this book a few years back but I was in a phase where I had no interest in books at the time and didn't get farther than the fifth chapter. But I'm trying again. Hopefully, I actually finish the book this time because I heard that it's actually a good book. First impression is that I am getting that a guy's sister was raped and not a whole lot is being done about it because the guy is rich and the girl was not. Kind of like a story that shows you how differently you can be treated just by where you are from in the world. I've read many books like this and so far I highly enjoyed them. So high expectation for this book.

Almost done reading Where She Went
Hey there Bookies,
I'm just wrapping up Where She Went and it's not much of a tear jerker as the first book. But that is okay. This book is just as good as the first. Right now I'm at the part where all secrets get exposed. Where Mia and Adam finally be honest with each other and come to an understanding. I'm kind of curious if they would make a movie out of this book as well. It would be cool to watch. Maybe it is already becoming a movie is about to come out. Who knows? I don't because I haven't kept up with anything since I have embraced my writing. But I would so see this if it was a movie. Same actors too would be nice. The different perspective is nice to have as well. You get to see everything Adam went through during the break up, after the break up, all of the flashbacks he remembers. I highly enjoyed the book and recommend you guys to read it along with the first one too if you haven't already. But I have to head out now since typing is still a painful process for me. But go check out the book. You won't regret it. Unless you aren't into this kind of book, then you are just missing out.

Reading Where She Went
Hey there Bookies,
This is going to be another short post because I can't only stand the pain for so long. Yep, my wrist is still injured. That's what sucks about today's world because I can't afford the insurance I need to get the damn thing fixed. Why can't life be how it is in books? No worries about going to the hospital because you never have to pay because you are either rich or someone does it for you. But things can't be like how they are in books which is kind of disappointing.
So I'm about halfway through the book now and not a whole lot has happened. Adam ran into Mia by going to her concert. The whole scene is you sitting there thinking 'what the hell did you expect?' and you keep reading to see if something happens. Like a rekindle of the fire that was forced to go out. The layout of the book is like the first one. A lot of flashbacks and you really paying attention so you don't get lost. But I like how the flashbacks explain things. Still wish why Mia went MIA on Adam that pretty much told him they were through. Hopefully, that explanation is coming up soon.
So until next time.......

Started reading Where She Went by Gayle Forman
Hey there Bookies,
Sorry for being MIA but I'm still in recovery for my wrist. We are hoping that the possible tear will heal on its own so I don't have to have surgery. But I'll try to stay posted as much as I can. Or, at least as much as my bandaged hand will allow me.
Anyways, a new book is in my hands and I'm already making good progress. Probably because I can't do anything else. But the book is the sequel to the huge tear jerker If I Stay. Pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye by the end of the book or the movie. Which makes me curious about this one. Is it going to have the same emotional impact as the first one? I guess I have to read to find out and right away I'm a little confused on all that was going on. But I'm hoping that it will all make sense in the next few pages. I just started the book so not a lot is going to make me understand the storyline. But from what I can see, first chapter is all through Adam's eyes.
