What's up Bookies?
So I'm only a quarter of the way through the book Half-Blood and I can't help but think that it is highly similar to Vampire Academy. Sure it's not exactly a like but it still has the same kind of leading lady. Only this leading lady was taken out of school by her mother that later died due to the lack of protection. But she does get dragged back to school and questioned why she left. Also, her future gets put on the line and she has to behave the whole entire time she is back at school. Also, she has to train in order to catch up to what everyone else has learned in the fighting department. Similar to Vampire Academy. Even the forbidden instructor and best guy friend are similar. But this series might have a different outcome compared to Vampire Academy. I just had to point out that I am getting a serious case of Deja Vu. Which might be a good thing because I liked Vampire Academy, so I am bound to like this one too.

Started reading Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Hello Bookies,
When was the last time I read a book by Jennifer L. Armentrout? It has to be a while if I can't even remember the last book I read that was by her. But I guess it's time to finally pick up one of her books and read it. I meant to get to this book sooner, but I have a huge list and I'm going one book at a time. Anyways, I did read what was the prequel to this book and the whole series in general. I don't remember any of it because it was so long ago. But I'm pretty sure the book leaves off where that book ended. I'm not sure because I actually haven't started to book yet. I am just about to because it's been calling my name since I picked it up from the library. I wonder what adventures this book holds.

Manga Post #2
Hello Bookies,
It's another manga post. Still, the same manga's I have been reading before. Just different adventures. Sadly I will be ending one soon, but I will leave that for later. Right now, let's talk about the one I have in my hands right at this moment, Naruto.
Believe it or not, I actually got Netflix so I could rewatch all of the episodes that I have read so far. Anyways, the last volume had Naruto and his group finish the second exam. They just barely made it, but they get to move on. Lucky them. Also, it wouldn't be such a good series if our trio failed right away. Right? Also, it would be kind of dumb to have Naruto lose just because of not showing up at a location on time. He is supposed to be the main person of the whole series. It's even named after him. Anyways, the third exam is underway after a long speech by one of their former teachers. Anyways, they don't waste any time starting the next exam and begin a tournament right away for everyone to fight against each other to find who is the strongest. I watched the TV series, so I have a bit of an idea what is going to happen next. I bet volume nine wraps up the first part of the third exam.
I'm going to be sad when I'm finished with this series. But it seems now that we will be reading about how our main characters got their +anima in the first place. Senri's is first and it is a bit of a sad story. Still, makes for a good adventure that has you sitting on the edge of your seat. I know for Husky and Nana, we got hints on how they got their +anima but we don't know the whole story. So, I'm a little curious about that. I know that Cooro is the biggest mystery in the group. Was he born with his +anima or did it come at a time he needed it most? I hope we find out soon. But this volume is mainly focused on Senri. I like how we do get glimpses of Cooro's past, but it doesn't really answer any questions. It only just makes me more curious on what the next volume will tell us. Sorry that I can't say more about the volume. You just have to read it yourself to find out the details.
We all know I'm not in love with this series. I find it to drag on too much. I know it supposed to have some touching moments that make you want to cry, but I just don't. Maybe I'm just a soulless, heartless person. But I do have to admit that the last volume I read had a pretty interesting ending that ended with a cliff hanger. Maybe things are finally going to get interesting from here on. Honestly, I don't know what to say from here on, only because of how volume 5 ended. It was such a turn of events that I can't mention anything that won't ruin it. I guess I will have to stop posting about this series. But it is a point in the story that made everyone truly see themselves and how they have thought they grew up. Sorry, I can't say anything to you guys from now on. Read the series and you will understand.

Finished reading The Best Goodbye
Hello Bookies,
I'm starting to think that it's a bad idea for me to be reading while at work. I end up forgetting to do the things I am supposed to. Like vacuum the lobby. But I have no regrets. The book was pretty good. All my questions were answered. A few misunderstandings happened and a few fights. Captain's past gets brought up because he gets shot in the leg. Pretty much thought that she was going to walk away and never come back for a minute. Captain thought so too. Anyways, the book ended on a good note. Highly recommend the series like always. Abbi Glines has a lot of books I recommend. I don't think I've said anything bad about her so far. Either way, I look forward to the next book I get to read of hers.

Reading The Best Goodbye
Hello there Bookies,
This book is taking me so much longer to read than it should. It's only a little over two hundred pages and I am only a third of the way. I am blaming it on the fact that it's busy at work, and there are new dramas that are taking up my time. I'm not slacking because I read a whole lot while at work. I just don't know why it is taking me so long. Maybe I'm just taking my time. Savoring the story that is slowly unfolding before me. But I do have some answers and even more questions since starting this book. Still not sure if Rose's daughter is Captain's as well. Also, when is he going to realize that the girl he loved is right in front of him with different hair? Of course, I can see why it is taking him so long to actually see her. The idiot thinks she is dead. Now I'm curious on what happened there and find out how she lived when her lover thinks she is dead. So I'm just waiting for that to finally play out in the book. Because Rose is telling a whole different story to what had happened that day. She is stating that she just left him behind. This is all making me confused. Must. Read. More.

Started reading The Best Goodbye by Abbi Glines
Hey there Bookies,
How long has it been since I have read anything from the Rosemary Beach series? If I remember correctly, this is the second to last book. Of course, it would end with Nan finally finding the love she thinks she deserves. But she is the last one to find her forever soulmate. Everyone else is all happy and in love. But that is after this book and so far it is starting off pretty interesting. We have our leading lady who has traveled miles to be with the guy who she once was in love with. The only problem is that he doesn't remember her. He just sees her as a cute server that he hired for his restaurant. That is just the first few chapters. I have a feeling that I'm going to be highly entertained by this book. So far Abbi Glines hasn't disappointed me. I've got high expectations for her when it comes to reading any of her books. I forgot to mention that our leading lady, Rose has a daughter as well. Not sure if she is Captian's daughter as well, but by how things are sounding, she just might be. Like I said before, this book is going to be interesting to read.

Manga post #1
Hello there Bookies,
I figured that instead of listing all of the manga that I was reading in the title, I thought it would be easier on all of us if I just said that it was a manga post. Then you guys can read up on what mangas I read recently. Sound good? So, why don't I start? Since it's the ones I have been reading recently.
Naruto Vol. 7 is starting to make me wonder how long this series actually is. I'm guessing that there is over a hundred volumes and I'm only on the seventh. This is going to take a while to finish. I just know it. Anyways, the second exam is coming to a close. I've watched the episodes for this volume so it is all still a refresher for me. But it is still nice to get a refresher on the series since it is pretty impossible for me to watch without having to buy the series online. I'm too poor for that. But it is getting closer to that point where I left off in the TV series. So new things are coming my way. I can't wait. It will also probably be in the 9th or 10th volumes.
Bookies,
We all know my feelings so far on this series. I'm not loving it. A Silent Voice has so far been boring and dry. Nothing exciting has happened. It kind of makes me wonder if the TV series, if there is one, is way better. But there is so much hype about this series that I'm willing to stick it out a little bit longer. Sadly it didn't stop me from dreading to open its pages. The first part of the book proved that it was going to be like the other books. But about halfway through things started to shift. The series actually started to get a bit interesting. Here is this guy that has been trying his hardest to make up for his past mistakes. He even asks a former classmate to not mention anything and she turns it around by telling the one person he didn't want finding out about his past. To be honest, that was a little dirty of her and wrong, if you ask me. So he pretty much loses all of his friends that he worked so hard to make. The only one that really stuck by his side is the girl he used to bully. And can I say I didn't see the major twist at the end of the volume? Who would have guessed that someone so happy would do something like that? Thank the lord that our leading male character was there to save the day. You have to read the series to find out what I'm talking about. I'm not nice enough to give you guys any spoilers.
We all know how much I enjoy +Anima. The characters are loveable and funny. The adventures are interesting. I would so watch this if it was a TV series. But the adventures for this volume were okay. We had Cooro steal some apples and have a lady think he was her long dead son. Husky was mistaken as a girl again and had someone fall in love with him. And, then we have Senri going towards the mountains where the volume cuts off saying 'to be continued'. No. You can't do that. Now I have to wait a week for my next volume. Sad face. But I still highly enjoy this series and I have a feeling that there aren't that many volumes left. What am I going to do without Cooro? He is my favorite so far in this series. With Husky as a close second, of course.
I'm going to head out for now. I have two books I have to read before I can get any more manga. Also I have a dog asking for my constant attention as I write this.
