Hello Bookies,
Wouldn't you know that I didn't read one bit during my days off from work? What did I do instead? I watched Kdramas the whole time. I suck. Anyways, I did try to read earlier today. Sadly it didn't work out because my baby brother wouldn't leave me alone. He kept showing me things on his phone that he was watching. Typical kid. Also, I'm still not reading. I guess Ji Chang Wook comes first. He is so cute. Very nice to look at. But I'll get to reading once I get sick of watching Kdramas. Which will probably be soon because I can only take so much in one sitting. But I thought I would update you guys on what was going on. I would hate to go MIA on you guys again.
So until next time......

Started reading Enshadowed by Kelly Creagh
Bookies,
I have high expectations for this book, and I'm so happy to finally have it in my hands. It's the sequel to Nevermore and I'm pretty excited to see what this book's pages hold. I can't even remember when I read the first one. But I do remember some of the things that had happened in the book. Like the fact that our main characters end up in some world that are like the live action version of Edgar Allan Poe's stories. They try to escape but our leading lady doesn't want to leave with our or leading man. Somehow she gets tricked into thinking that he is safe and she escapes the place. Only to find out that he was still trapped. I think this book is about her trying to find a way to get him back. I had trouble putting down the first book, so I'm pretty sure it's going to be the same with this one. Shall I dive into the adventure now?

Read A Silent Voice Vol. 4, +Anima Vol. 4, and Naruto Vol. 6
Hey there Bookies,
I got my next set of books and that means I have more manga to read. I feel like such a nerd reading these but I enjoy them. Well at least most of them. Still having trouble getting into one. Hopefully that will change soon.
There is obviously a message in this manga but I'm an idiot that isn't quite getting it. Or, I am getting it but my mind just won't process it correctly. Either way, I still feel like this series is dragging on a bit. I feel like that last few volumes have been about redemption and making friends. Trying to understand people and all that. Like how the mom is always acting like a witch but she had no choice since she was abandoned by her husband because their child was deaf. Stupid reason for a divorce, but at least you get an idea why she is the way she is. I still wish she was a little nicer and understanding, but maybe we will get there. Other than that, I have nothing to say really. Nothing much happens in this volume that is really noteworthy.
I'm slowly growing to love this series. The majority of this volume is our main characters taking part in a town that has an arena where they have fights as competition. Cooro and Husky sign up and Nana makes a new friend. Of course that new friend is a bit of a brat and punish those that don't want to be her friend anymore. Which this causes a lot of problems for our little group while Senri is causing issues all on his own. Like saving Rose's brother and being accused of being a kidnapper. Luckly our spoiled brat comes to the rescue. After that everyone lives happily ever after. Well, or group is still struggling to survive but at least they make an interesting adventure. I already have requested the next volume and I'm slowly becoming a huge Cooro fan. He is so cute.
Another Naruto volume complete and still not close to where I left off. Well, maybe a little bit since I did miss some episodes around this point. So I guess reading about the parts I missed really help me understand the whole series of the show. Right? Anyways, the second part of the exam is taking place since in the last volume it was just starting. I keep forgetting how fast everything actually takes place. So far there have been a few fights going on in the second exam. Including the huge fight between our three main characters and a ninja that is of course wanted by their village. They just don't know it yet since no one really knows that this ninja is even anywhere near the village. I'm pretty sure that the next part of the exam is in the next volume. This one is just about survival and getting to the tower on time. Makes it pretty interesting when everyone is fighting in order to make the cut.
I think I'm going to cut it off right here. Like I have said many times before. Go check out the books and give each of the writers some love. Even if you aren't a nerd like me, go get them. You might surprise yourself and actually like the books. But I'm going to head out for now because I'm slowly falling asleep and I need some coffee or something to keep me awake while I'm at work.

Finished reading Sweet Temptation
Hello Bookies,
Sorry for missing for a few days. I couldn't put the book down because it was really good. Also I had family events I had to attend that kept me from reading. But anyways, I'm done reading the book. Or, at least, almost done reading the book. A lot of the book is basically a refresher for me since I read all o the other books. Which I found quite helpful because I couldn't remember some of the big events due to the fact that I read all of the other books like two years ago. So I'm sitting there at some parts going, "I could have sworn this part was a lot shorter," or other parts I'm like, "I thought this was a lot sooner in the book". Either way it was nice to read and get reminded of all of the things that I didn't remember in the series. Like Jay's love child to be a little specific. But I'm wrapping up the book where the final judgement happens. So I'm going to wrap up that part and sit staring at a wall when I'm done. Only because I won't know what to do with my life until the next set of books come into the library. The waiting is so long. But go read the series if you haven't. I highly recommend it.

A third of the way through Sweet Temptation
Good evening Bookies,
I think this book is going to take me a while to read. Not because it's a slow read, but because no one wants me to fricken read. I've had to reread pages because it I was more focused on what was around me than the actual book. It's so frustrating. I need a sign or something to say to be quiet when I'm reading. Anyways, the book is completely in Kaiden's point of view. I actually love books that go into the guys perspective just to tell you what he is thinking at that moment. Kaiden had such an image in the previous books that made him appear like a jerk and closed off. Turns out that he only does it because it's his way of protection. He was taught that if he stepped out of line, he would be killed. So you can understand why he is so closed off. Also it kind of gets confusing when you learn a new feeling that you have never felt before. Which just makes this book even more interesting than the others. If not just as interesting. I was going to wait until I was about halfway before I posted about the book, but due to people that don't believe in reading, I decided I should post now. I'm not sure when I will post again, but so far I'm highly enjoying this book.

Started reading Sweet Temptation by Wendy Higgins
Bookies,
I finally have my hands on it. I've waited so long to get this book. Even begging to have it didn't work. But now I can read it. I loved the sweet series and now I have Kaidan's version in my hands. I'm super excited to read this book and I have high expectations for it. Only because I loved the other books so much. Sadly the cover is a bit beaten up because apparently people have no respect for books these days. But I will look past it because I'm about ready to open this baby up and dive into the world of Nephilim and demon Dukes. I can't even remember when this book came out that it's been so long. But I'm off to read. See you guys when I'm halfway.

Reading A Silent Voice Vol. 3
I have to be honest Bookies. I'm not really getting into this manga. I'm hoping that the more I get into the series the better it will get. I know that I'm only three volumes in and that there is so much more to the whole story. There isn't much to even talk about except the fact that Shoya is trying to fix his past mistakes. I kind of see him as annoying. Maybe there is a deeper meaning that I'm completely missing here. But I'm kind of getting tired of his second guessing and constant whining. But I'll give this series a few more volumes before the final verdict. I heard that it is supposed to get really good. I'm just starting to wonder when that is supposed to happen. It's just dragging right now.
So until next time.....
