Reading Cinder

Hello there Bookies,

It is taking me so long to read this book, I'm not even a quarter of the way. But I can say that I'm farther than I have ever been before. So I am making progress. So far we are introduced to I think post apocalyptic China or at least somewhere in Asia. Our main character is a girl who experienced a severe accident that turned her into a cyborg. Also during this time period, cyborgs are considered low level people. They are actually not even considered people. Anyways, Cinder is working at the market and runs into the prince. They talk and she agrees to fix something of his. He leaves and then an outbreak of the plague shows up in the market and it shuts down. Cinder goes home and finds that her adoptive mother is having her adoptive sisters fitted for dresses. She mentions being fitted but her step mother tells her that she has to fix their hover first and buy herself her own dress for the ball. Cinder figures out that she wouldn't be able to go because her step mother will just come up with excuses on why she can't go. So Cinder decides to go to the junkyard to scavenge for parts with one of her step sisters tagging along. While there her step sister has a breakout from the plague and is carted away. Cinder then goes home to report the news but they already know. She then learns that she was volunteered against her will to be a test subject. Tries to escape but fails. And, that is pretty much where I left off. A whole lot happens in the first few chapters, which means that this book is going to be an adventure. Now if only I can actually get myself to read more of it. Sorry guys, I'm trying but I predict not finishing this book once again.

So until next time....
