Watching The Giver

Okay sadly I was only able to watch like half of this movie due to the fact that I had to return it. So I'll have to wait until its on TV or Netflix to finish watching it. Which kind of makes me sad. Anyways, the movie is so much different then the book. You can tell the differences right away. But that is Hollywood. I could list all of the differences, but its been so long since I've read the book I don't think its fair if I do that. Anyways you can tell me the differences you noticed between the movie and the book. I want to see what you guys observed. But I'm going to head out. I have to go return some movies and catch up on some reading. So until next time.....

Finished watching If I Stay

Okay so I just finished watching If I Stay. And if there is ever a dry eye watching this movie, that person is heartless. I loved the movie. It took me a while to like the book. But they both end the same way. They both have you begging for a squeal. Luckly there is one. Whether it has a movie deal or not, I don't know. But it should because I want more. So next chance I get, I'm requesting Where She Went and continuing this story. But I must dry my eyes now and go help make food. I also have cookies to make for the Packer game. I will have to sneak the Ravens game because no one here likes the Ravens but me. I think its because my family believe a guy runs my life just like the rest of my cousins. I'm my own person people. Anyways the whole ending of If I Stay has you crying nonstop. So if you don't at least tear up watching this movie, there is something wrong. So until next time.....

Started reading Rebound by Rosemary Rey

Okay so I was asked to review this book by the author themselves. Do I know what the book is about? Of course not. Its a free book and I'd be happy to read anything that is free. Which reminds me to put up a post for How Much Do You Love Me? I didn't read that book, I had my mom read it.  She finished it in like a day and I would of taken me forever to read it. But all other books aside. I'm reading Rebound. So far I've read two pages. I would of read more but my mistake is that I got too comfy on my bed at two in the morning, so you can say that I pretty much fell asleep. Sorry Rosemary for falling asleep while reading your book. But I have to get going. I'm doing something that is the devil's work and my grandmother is complaining. She is even spreading her nonsense to my siblings now. My grandmother is in a wonderful mood today. So until next time.

Watching If I Stay

Okay so, for those who know, I've been trying to find a way to watch If I Stay since I have read the book. And, as if fate would have it, I finally got to rent the movie. I've only watched half of the movie so far only because of two reasons. One, the battery died to my DVD player and I can't watch it on my computer because its being stupid. The computer not the DVD. And two, because if I didn't stop watching the movie, I would of became a blubbering mess in front of my mom. That would be something I'd never live down. My family lives to torture me. Anyways, so far I like the book. But I'm already noticing some differences. Like the mom and dad are different from the book. If you read the book and then watched the movie, you'd understand. Also being a book, you got to read the gruesome scene of the accident, where in the movie they pretty much just have people running around. Its not a horror movie, so no blood and gore. Sorry guys. Also a difference is that the dad lives to go to the hospital in the movie, but in the book he was pretty much torn to pieces. I think. So far they have her brother Teddy alive and looking to a full recovery in the movie. In the book you don't know much because they are in different hospitals. But I'm going to leave it at that for now. I'm going to let the stupid DVD player charge a bit so I can finish the movie. I'll be watching The Giver as well. I already have a feeling there will be a lot of differences with that movie compared to the book. So until next time......

Reading Breakable

Okay, so I've officially started Breakable. I have exactly four days to read this book. I hope I can do this. Also I've been asked to do another book for review. So my ebook has been put on hold because of that. But we are here to talk about this book, not the other one. So I'm pretty much right about Breakable being Easy but in Lucas's point of view. Also you get a chance to see the after effects after his mother was killed. All I can say to those parts is poor guy. So far I'm really enjoying the book. Its actually always interesting to read your favorite books in the other lead's point of view. You get to see how they are seeing things and what they are thinking while pursuing the leading lady. I have a feeling I'll be begging to get my own copy of this book. So until next time......

Started reading Breakable by Tammara Webber

I finally get a chance to read this book. It honestly makes me really excited. I own the first book because I loved it so much. So I have a feeling I'll be begging to get this book when I'm done. Anyways, I honestly have no idea what the book is about. I think its just Easy but in Lucas's point of view. I'm not sure. And, I don't care. I just want to read this book ever since I found out that it was coming out. So I'm going to fight for a spot on my bed. Curl up and snuggle with my dogs. Then enjoy the story that is about to be told. God knows I've been waiting for a very long time for my turn at the library. Feels like forever. Good thing I don't have to write anymore. Just get my mother's butt moving on editing. So until next time.....

Started reading Against the Wall by Julie Prestsater

So here is my new ebook that I'm reading. Do I know what it is about? Of course not. I don't check to see what they are about anymore. I've only read the first chapter. So far I guess its based on a high school teacher and she had a bad break up before the school year started. Thats about all I know. I know I'm a horrible reader. But I just wanted to show you what the ebook I'm reading. Also to wish those who celebrate Thanksgiving today a Happy Thanksgiving. Its a crazy day at my house because everyone is coming over for dinner. My mother is giving me dirty looks as we speak because I'm supposed to be cooking instead of working on this post. So until next time.....

Wrapping up 3:AM Kisses

Okay so I'm saying wrapping up because of the fact that I'm almost done with the book, but not quite there yet. Also I still haven't heart what happened to Bryson's ex, and I'm starting to think that I'm never going to find out. I have thirty pages left and there is no sign that he is going to tell what happened. It is driving me insane. Also I thought for sure Bryson would confess before Cole found out about Baya dating Bryson. But I at least got the whole caught them red handed deal right. Nothing like being in the middle of pleasuring your boyfriend when your brother storms into the room. Then kicks your boyfriend's butt for even touching you in that sense. I'm so glad to be the oldest sibling in my family. Can't say the same about my little sisters. Baya is lucky that she doesn't have more then one older brother. Anyways, I'm amazed at how fast I read this book. I'm actually kind of sad that it had to end. Also if I don't find out the secret by the end of this book, there better be a sequel so I can find out. I'm dying to know. And so will you when you read the book. Trust me. Just pick it up and you won't want to put it down until you find out because it likes to poke its head every once in a while to remind you that it's there. So until next time....

Finished reading The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden (Spoiler alert for those who haven't read it)

Okay, so I was wrong about Callie being molested. She was raped. By who, you ask. Well, its no other then.....

.............................................................

.................Wait for it.................................

.............................................................

................Wait for it...................................

.............................................................

................Its.............................................

............................................................

..............the brother's best friend. Swear to God, I didn't see it coming. I honestly thought it was Kayden's dad. That would of been a huge downer on their relationship. But I say this was a successful plot twist. Never see it coming.  Or, maybe you do and I just wasn't being observant enough. Anyways, I loved it. Sadly other then that, the book is kind of predictable. I didn't mind it though. Still loved the book. Probably get the second book if there is one. But I'm off to go wrap up my writing so we can edit it full force. So until next time......

Almost done reading The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden

In all honesty, I'm only half way through the book. But that is okay because I'm starting to think that Callie was molested when she was just a kid. Horrible thing to happen to a child. Anyways, I'm not sure who the perv is, but I have an idea on who it is. And if I'm right, it's going to create some issues between our recent love birds. Kayden is no longer holding back his feelings for Callie, but he is still scared as hell to experience them. I believe he hurts himself just to stop feeling those feelings. These people have issues and I believe they could handle them a little better.  But I'm going to head out for now. I got business stuff I got to do. So until next time.....

Reading 3:AM Kisses part 2

Before I talk about the books I'm reading, I'd like to take a moment that logging on my facebook is a huge tease for me. Ever since this whole Ugly Love being coming a movie thing started, I feel like I'm being tortured with all the snidbits going on. Its not fair and it makes me highly sad. Also the hottie Nick Bateman adds to the torture. But I'm still highly excited to see the book come to life. Its well worth it and pretty much passed Beautiful Disaster on my favorite book list. So I believe Colleen absolutely deserves this. She is so talented.

So lets get a talking about the books I'm reading. Starting with 3:AM Kisses. Things are secretly getting serious between Bryson and Baya since he locked lips with her. He's also seems to be going through a bit of a dry spell. I think its because he is trying to impress Baya. Of course now she knows that he's holding some heavy secret due to a childhood friend of his. What that secret is, no one knows yet. But I'm dying to find out. Anyways, I left off at a part where Bryson invites her to go boating with him. Sadly it turns into a huge sex fest. I swear the girls in this book have no shame what so ever. I guess that just gives it some character.

I know I said that I'd write so much more about this book the last time I talked about it, but sadly I only got another few pages more. Callie and her best friend Seth have a little heart to heart before they fall asleep. That is about it. I haven't been reading this book as much as I'd like, and I want to read more because I want to know what happened to Callie.

Gah, so many secrets in both books I'm reading and no time to find out. Luckly writing is almost done for the year. Anyways, I'm going to wrap up right about now. I have some writing to catch up on and then some reading to do. I must find out what the secrets are. So until next time.....

Just rambling

I'm wide awake and bouncing in my seat. Maybe it was a bad idea to drink Mountain Dew before bed. Anyways, I just want to just ramble. Why? Why not? I have nothing better to do but write and stare at my mom. Also I mention to her, "You know what would be cool? Being on the set and promoting the making of a book coming to life." I also added that it would be an honor to be on the set for either While It Lasts or Ugly Love. Yes, I just read that Colleen signed the permission and all other kinds of forms to have her book turned into a movie. Which actually makes me highly excited. My mom mentioned that I should write to her and tell her how honored I'd feel to be the one chosen to promote the movie and the making of it. Also how I also just want to stare at Nick Bateman if he does end up playing Miles Archer. That boy is fine. The guy chosen to play as Cage York is quite a looker too. Where do these authors find these guys? Because I want to live there. I would ramble more, but my house is freezing. I have grandparents who don't believe in a thing called heat. I can't wait until I move out East where I can control my own fricken heat during freezing cold winter. But I'm going to curl up under a blanket and hopefully get some writing done for tomorrow/today. Depends on your time zone. I still think it would be cool just to experience being on a movie set and watching things take place. Hint hint to Abbi Glines and Colleen Hoover. Just an idea and I will envy who ever gets the opportunity to share the movie making process. So until next time......

Reading 3:AM Kisses

Okay, I know there is this huge deal going on with the idea of Colleen Hoover's book Ugly Love possibly becoming a movie, but until anything is validated I'm not jinxing it by saying anything about it. Instead I'm going to talk about what is going down with my reading and writing. Starting with the ebook I'm reading. So I'm just going to jump into it with the fact that out leading lady Baya is getting a little jealous over the girls hanging around Bryson. Its to the point that she even tries to up stage one. Sadly I didn't get too far because I got caught reading by my grans and you know how she feels about reading. Its the Devil's work. The lady is nuts, but we still love her. But I'll be sure to sneak some more pages for you guys, because even I'm on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what is going to happen next. Also I want to know about Bryson's big bad past. All you know about it is something bad happened and it involved a girl named Steph. It is driving me insane to not know. But to make up for lack of reading, I found the link to lead you to the free ebook. Its because I'm so nice. So here's the link that I hope works, http://amzn.com/B00EA45DUO. But I'm sure you guys will let me know if it doesn't.

Also I'd like to let you know about my progress in writing. It is uber crazy with the work I'm pulling off in such a short amount of time. Also with the fact that my grans even thinks writing is Devil's work. I think she thinks anything creative is Devil's work now that I think about it. But her craziness does help with my writing. Anyways, I'm almost done writing and the editing process has begun. Which makes me super excited. It won't be long until I send the book off to the publisher and maybe not long after that it will be hitting the shelves. Maybe I'm just dreaming up a complete fantasy. You never know. But I'm pretty excited how this book is turning out, and I might end up changing the title. Not sure yet. But enough of my babble. I'm going to head out. So until next time......

Started reading 3:AM Kisses by Addison Moore

For those who are wondering what my choice of ebook was as of late, I'm currently reading 3:AM Kisses by Addison Moore. I'm going alphabetic order on my kindle app on my phone. It will make my reading choices so much easier. Just so happens that this one is first, even when I continue to buy more books. I'm terrible. Anyways, I'm sneaking this between writing which is pretty often after all the Mountain Dew and Coffee I've been drinking. So, the book is pretty easy to read and goes by quick. I'm about a third of the way through already and already loving it. It also helps that I was able to find this book for free on Amazon.com. I'll be sure to share the link next time if it is still free. Anyways, our main lady is named Baya. Cool name. Any who, she goes to college and quickly runs into our main man, Bryson. She also finds out that her overly protective brother isn't only the complete opposite of what she thought he was, but also the fact that he's roommates with the hottie called Bryson. She is pretty much determined to live the college life no matter what her brother says. So you can say that she is becoming a rebel. Anyways, she gets stuck rooming with her brother because it just so happens that her roommate back at her dorm is on a sex marathon. I wouldn't just leave if I were Baya. I'd give that girl a piece of my mind, then leave. Just saying. Anyways, I left off with Baya talking to her new found friends about Bryson. I want to read more instead of write my book Elizabeth. Only because I want to know the mystery of Bryson. Writing sucks lately. So until next time.....

Reading The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden

Okay, so I'm not reading much due to the fact that someone somewhere decided to move up my writing deadline for kicks. I have no idea how I'm going to write 21,000 words in two days. I can't even focus enough to write a sentence. I'm uber stressing right now. Which makes me sad. Anyways, I sadly get far in my reading. Just a few pages of mischief. And by that I mean that there was a little bit of clubbing, maybe some going shopping while intoxicated, and spray painting a rock. Also Callie might of said something she shouldn't have to Kayden. Not sure. I wish I could tell you more, but like I said, I have a huge deadline to make. I promise to write more next time. So until next time.....

Happy Birthday to me.

For those who didn't know, its my birthday. Well its almost over now, but it was a nice day of spending time with family and money on books. So I also didn't gt any reading done. No writing either. Either way it was a good day. But I got loads of Ebooks that I need to read due to the nice gift card from my uncle. But I'm back to work tomorrow. And when I say work I mean I'm going  back to reading. Sorry the post is short, hopefully it will be longer tomorrow. So until next time.....

Finished reading Play and back to reading Callie & Kayden

Okay, I know I've been missing for the past few days. I'm sorry. Things are getting crazy in my house due to the fact that we have two birthdays and Thanksgiving coming. If you must know, one of the birthdays is mine. I'll be officially 23 on the 19th of November. Not going to do anything for it until the weekend, but I'm still pretty excited. Hopefully I get books. I already got the hard copy of Rule by Jay Crownover. I was even the loser standing by the window waiting for the mailman to come, who is kind of cute might I add. He brought my new book along with treats for my dogs. He's so nice. Anyways, I've been baking like crazy because I only bake for the holidays and my family eats my cookies faster then I can make them. Sad face. They also go a hold of my pumpkin bread for Thanksgiving. The fiends. Anyways, I know why you are here so lets do this.

I swear to God that I'm never going to live down the fact that I accidentally set a book on fire by putting it in the microwave. Stupid security chip. Anyways, I was able to read up until the last few chapters where the damage was so bad that I couldn't read. Honestly I don't remember what I told you guys about the book so far because it has been so long. But I will say that I thought the book wasn't going to have a heart breaking breakup, but the author ruined that by having Anne turn down Mal's proposal. Was I supposed to say that. No? Opps. Sorry guys, I guess I gave a spoiler with out meaning too. But I won't give away how they get back together. So far its so sweet. I'm still waiting for the replacement to come in the mail, so I haven't finished the book yet. The postal service is agonizingly slow during winter. I officially hate Wisconsin more. Sadly Maryland is just as bad, but Baltimore feels like its my home. Probably has to do with the fact that my favorite writer is buried there. Anyways, I love this book so much and I really wish the replacement was here already. So go read the first book Lick and then read this one. So far I can't get enough of the series and I have some explaining to do when I pick up the third book. Sorry library system for burning a book, please don't take my check out privileges.  I need books.

Also I'm writing like crazy with both stories I'm working on. Rebellious Love is sadly still at a stand still but Elizabeth is at full speed ahead still. But even that book is running out of steam. Gah, I just wish I could at least finish one. So until next time.......

Oh! I almost forgot!

I'm back to reading Callie & Kayden.
This is a book where I want to finish it and figure out what the hell happened to Callie that made her scared of everyone around her. What the hell made her change? I'm dying to know. But no one tell me because I want to find out on my own. All I got are Callie's memories here and there while she is being taken out of her comfort zone. Maybe she'll tell Kayden eventually, because he seems to keep the bad feelings away. Now if only he could ditch his bitch of a girlfriend. Pardon my language. I'm going to breeze through this one, because I'm determined to find out what happens, also its due date is approaching fast. Sad. So until next time.....for sure this time.

Reading Play and Day 2 on writing

I couldn't stay away from the book. I had to read it even though it strongly smells of burnt plastic and paper. I'm going to feel so bad when I hand this book to the librarian when I return it. They probably won't let me check out a book again after this. It still makes me highly sad when I look at the damage I had done to such a perfectly good book. It was like brand new when I got it, which just makes me feel worse. Anyways, guilt aside lets talk about the book. Our characters Anne and Mal are taking their fake relationship with stride. There was even an almost fake break up that ended with a flooded bathroom and parents unexpectedly showing up. The whole scene was quiet interesting, but they decided to turn their fake relationship into a real one. Anne thinks things are going to end messy, and it might. It also could end up really well. But if it does end badly, I want it to make me cry my eyes out. Just saying.

Also it is day two on my seven day challenge. I'm actually amazed that I'm almost done and haven't run out of what to say yet. Key word is yet. Its most likely to happen, but I don't care. I'm determined to finish this and never have to worry about it again. Anyways, my mom came up with a title for it called Elizabeth, but it might change. I kind of want a title to compliment what I'm writing and to me that just doesn't do it. Me writing this does nothing against the contest I have for Rebellious Love. I'll go back to writing that after this one is done. But I might do a contest for this one as well. Just to keep things interesting. So I got a little less then 5,000 words to do for the night, then I'm free to do what ever. Until tomorrow. But, I'll post another picture because I think you guys are awesome enough to get a little peak in what I'm writing.

So until next time......

Writing a short novel in seven days. Can I do it?

So my best friend Devon thinks I'm crazy to be doing this and she is probably right. But I'm stuck on Rebellious Love and I decided that I'm going to challenge myself and write a short novel in seven days. I have calculated how many words I need to type in order to achieve this insane goal. A month is just too long for me to achieve 50,000 words for Nanowrimo. So I took it up a notch. You may call me crazy. You may tell me that it is highly impossible. But I'm motivated enough to try it. So far I got my daily 7500 words done for today with going a little over. I even posting a picture as proof for those who don't believe me. Anyways, who thinks I can actually pull this off?

(Pay no attention to the part of my mother's face in the corner. I couldn't edit all of her out. But I was able to edit out the All Time Low member I love oh so much more then the others. I don't want to look like a crazy person and have his face on my blog. I'd rather admire from afar since he is way out of my league. Or, is he?)

So until next time.....

Paused reading Play due to my own stupidity

Nothing makes me more sad then dropping a book in some water, or at least that is what I thought. Apparently when you stick a library book in the microwave to dry, they tend to catch on fire. So I can't finish this book. I can try but the smell of burnt pages is not what I want to experience while reading a good book. That is not how a book should smell. But I'm take responsibility to replace the book and I have to wait until it is delivered on the 19th, aka my birthday. Maybe next time I'll remember that libraries have security chips on their books in case someone walks off with it. Not sure who would steal a book, but I'll just go with it. But I'll still remember before putting a wet book in the microwave. I'm surprise I didn't wake up my gramps with the smell of burnt pages. Sorry that I can't finish this book now guys. It was out of complete stupidity and lack of remembering about library security. It still makes me sad to ruin a perfectly good book. So until next time......

Reading Play

Okay, so I'm not as far as I'd like to be in the book. I think it has to do with the fact that I have a family who think reading is a waste of time. I really need to get my own place. Anyways, my writing is also talking a lot of my time. But it doesn't matter, because I'm loving the book so far. Nothing like trying so hard not to laugh while reading, but the leading man just makes me laugh. Mal is a pretty funny dude. Especially when he suddenly moves into Anne's apartment and declares that she is his girlfriend. The guy also set himself up to get hurt in the end because he told Anne that he'd help her get a guy jealous. I think he even hinted it towards her. So I think things are about to get interesting. But I'm also starting to realize that anything to do with Mal isn't going to be boring. He's a little on the dramatic side along with loads of energy. I can't wait until I see where this book ends up. So until next time.....

Started reading Play by Kylie Scott

Okay this is the last new book I got from the library. Also I really need to buckle down on my writing soon because I'm reading more then writing. I'm so behind schedule on that. Anyways, let get a talking about this book. Its the sequel to Lick, the book I read in like a day because I liked it that much. Apparently the whole series revolves around a band and each book is a member of that band finding love. It also doesn't stop me from making interesting comments that revolve around the models on the cover and title. Like with Lick I told my mom that I wouldn't mind licking the guy on the cover all night. My comment for this one is "I wouldn't mind if this guy played with me all night." My mom just looks at me with disapproval. So lets talk about the book and not about me lusting over book cover models. So the book starts with our leading lady, Anne getting screwed over by her best friend. I know exactly how this girl feels. Anyways, she is hugely in a rut and in need of saving. Only problem was that she wasn't going to ask for the help. So the best friend of our leading lady in Lick comes to take her to a party. Just so happens the drummer over hears a conversation Anne was having outside and I believe this is the start of a little arrangement that would help both of them out. I'm not sure, I honestly just started. But I'm going to wrap up my chapter and head off to work on Rebellious Love. I'm still looking for book cover ideas and you might end up with some free books if I choose your book cover. How can you turn down free stuff? So until next time......

Finished reading While It Lasts

I know what you guys are all thinking. What happened to all of the other books I was supposedly reading? Well I'll tell you. I still have them. The only problem is that they are in the coldest room in the house during the winter. AKA my room. Its because we tore down a walk due to some water damage and being a room in the basement, it got cold when winter came. I just haven't had the guts to go down there to get the book because I'll pretty much freeze because its so cold.

Anyways, lets talk about the book that I am reading at the time. Only because I'm almost done with it because my internet went down due to weather. I really hate snow, you know that? Well now you do. Anyways, enough of me complaining about weather. Lets talk about While It Lasts. So things change between Eva and Cage after he takes care of her while being drunk. I don't know what happened but they end up getting closer and Eva pretty much puts her guard down. Also she is starting to do the things she hadn't done in a long time. Like play guitar. Their relationship ends up getting more serious, but they both have different views on where the relationship is. Cage is trying to keep Eva for forever, and Eva is only seeing it as a summer fling. I'm just on the edge of my seat waiting to see how this all crash and burns because you know it is going to. If it doesn't, there is another book where it can. But I'm not going to tell you how this book ends or anymore about it, because I just love to keep you guys hanging. Plus I want you to go get the book and support this amazing author. I already requested the next book in the series from the library, but it is going to get to that point where the library doesn't have the book I need to continue. I hate it when that happens.

Also me being the nice person that I am. I thought I'd post another picture of my work writing Rebellious Love. The book is turning out quite well and my editor is really dragging their feet on the whole editing thing. She also knows how to make it sound so much when I tend to drag on for too long. So here is a picture of one of my chapters. I'm sorry if you can't make out what it says, I tried. So until next time.....

Reading While It Lasts by Abbi Glines

Before I start anything about books, I'd like to wonder if anyone else is having issues voting for the Goodreads Choice Awards. I ask this because the romance category and I are having a little complications. I am beginning to hate it greatly because I can't choose which I want to vote for. There are so many good books that I've read or want to read. Its just not fair to pick just one book. My mom told me I should pick the one I had to have when it came out. Of course I got that book before I read some of the other choices. I just don't want to choose, so how should I do this whole voting a book in the romance category? How do you decide which book when you can't decide which book to vote for during the Goodreads Choice Awards?

Also I'd like to remind all of you that I'm still doing my contest for a book cover for my very first book Rebellious Love. There are basically no rules. If you have not read what I have posted for pictures of my progress, got check them out if you can. My main characters are starting to see themselves as a twisted version of Romeo and Juliet. I think the reference even makes an appearance in the book. Anyways, I'm about a fourth of the way done with the book and working on getting half way in the next two days. I might even post another print-screen  of  my work. What do you think about that?

But, lets get to the reason why you are actually here. I promised that I would make a post about this book. I'm a third of the way now, which is surprising. It feels like I just started the book. Also I like the fact that my cousin thinks the guy on the cover is cute. I'm not the only one. Anyways, if I remember correctly, there is a possibility that this book is becoming a movie. I would so love to go see it if it did become one. I might even write about the movie in a post. Anyways, lets get talking about the book. Cage York finally gets in trouble for his reckless lifestyle. Also the beginning of this book is a huge tear jerker. Nothing like opening the book for the first time and bawling your eyes out. Thanks for that Abbi. I got weird looks from my family for that. But all is good because I'm finding difficult to put the book down right now. Especially when broken hearted Eva tries so hard not to be attracted to Cage, but ends up kissing him. Then gets the wrong idea when Low shows up to pick him up on his day off. She even ends up getting drunk and kind of wants to take advantage of Cage. The scene is quite interesting, but I didn't get to enjoy it much because my dog decided to lay on the book and cuddle. He is such an attention hog sometimes. So until next time.....

Finished reading Arouse

I didn't get any writing done today. That kind of makes me sad. But I did realize that I'm not halfway through Arouse. The time periods switching could give me whiplash while reading this. You basically get used to one time only to be suddenly switched to the next one. Its crazy. But still interesting. I'm also sneaking pages of While It Lasts by Abbi Glines. Expect a post about that some time. I'm not far enough to say what is going on in that book. This book honestly has a lot going on, but I feel like I'm giving too much away if I tell you. I will say though that I'm no disappointed so far. Also I've come to realize its one of those books you can't read around other people because some scenes are quite steamy. I wish I felt comfortable to write like that. I feel like I'm writing a kid's book compared to these other adult authors. But I'm trying. Anyways, I'm going to wrap up this book since I'm just flying through the digital pages. So technically I'm not done reading, but I don't want to give anything away. It would just ruin the book. So go get it. I think its still free for Kindle but I'm not sure. So until next time......

Reading Arouse

Okay, the book is making so much sense now. I'm about a third of the way and its okay right now. We basically follow our main character around named Olivia or Liv. She is married to Dean West and basically their meeting was like fate. She was having trouble registering for school and he came to the rescue. Then she leaves thinking she will never see him again. At least until he shows up to her place of work every day until they start flirting through books. Kind of reminds me of what I do with a certain someone, but I do greeting cards. Either way both ways are cute and romantic in a way. Anyways, you pretty much have to pay attention while you read. The book tends to change time periods on you with out telling you. So avoid confusion and pay close attention. Basically you are switching between how they met and became a couple with the life that they are living now and the complications of being in a marriage. Its quite interesting right now. So far I'm liking it. So until next time.....

Started reading Arouse by Nina Lane

Okay, so I'm putting How Much Do You Love Me? by Paul Mark Tag for now. I have loads of books from the library I have to read. Also I have so many ebooks on my phone that I have to read before my mother strangles me for spending good money on books. She won't really strangle me people. She'll just give me a certain look that says she is not happy with how much I'm spending on books. I'm about to loose my phone along with my bookstore privileges. Yes, I do live with my mother, but that is going to change in March unless I keep spending my moving money on books. I can't move to another state with just the clothes on my back, so my mother says. Anyways, the deal is I read the books from the library and at least two ebooks in two weeks, and I could be forgiven. She'll probably tell me to read two more ebooks when I read the two I was supposed to. Anyways, lets get talking about the wonderful ebook that became my first choice in this deal. The book is Arouse by Nina Lane. I'm still highly confused on what is going on in the book, probably I just got it because it says free. I really need to make a habit to actually read what the book is about. Anyways, I'm about eleven pages in already and the intro is kind of confusing. Our main character is pretty much on the street saying that she wished someone would touch her. Then bam you are at a different time period. I don't know if you are supposed to read the book to have it go up to that point in the introduction to have it explained and make sense. I don't know. But I do have a feeling that this book is going to be pretty good. I say that because one of the blogs that I follow had high praise for the book. Of course, I could also end up hating it. Believe it or not, I'm one of the few that didn't like The Hunger Games books. I honestly think the movies are way better. You may hate me now. So until next time...

Oh! I almost forgot. I'm doing a cover contest for my book Rebellious Love. I'm actually making great progress on writing it and to celebrate I wanted to have a contest for the cover. It will be something I'll be presenting to publishing companies and hopefully use it for the official copy of the book. You not only get free books from my bookshelf, I'll also send you a copy of Rebellious Love when it gets published. All you have to do is design the cover, no rules for creativity. Then send it to me. I don't care how, just as long as you send it. Its that easy. I'd really appreciate it if you guys took part in this little contest.

Started reading How Much Do You Love Me? by Paul Mark Tag

So I am doing a request. In all honesty I won this book in a contest, but the author was nice enough to ask if I could review it for him. If I'd like. And so since I'm such a nice person, I will. I'm not sure what the book is about because I entered the contest because the book cover looked interesting. I didn't say that I was perfect and I do tend to judge a book by its cover. Anyways, I do have a feeling that this book is going to be a historical novel. Something I don't read often, but I'll still give it a shot. The only thing that I know so far from my reading only three pages is that our main character's name is Keiko. I'm sneaking this in between writing sessions along with some other books I'm reading, so cut me some slack. Lets see if I'll like it or not finish it at all. So until next time.....

Started reading Embraced By Darkness by Keri Arthur

One of the book I'm reading now is Embraced by Darkness. Actually I've been reading this book a little at a time as the weeks progress. I need a break from writing every once and a while. Anyways....Its the fifth book is a series and is told through the eyes of Riley Jenson. I've been trying to finish this series for what feels like forever since discovering it in my sophomore year of high school. I'm pretty determined to finish this series or at least read as much as I can. Also I want to know if Riley finds her soul mate and how the heck she came across him. Anyways, our main lady is actually on vacation when you start out the book. She pretty much needs time to wind down after a certain mission. I wish I could remember what it was but its been a while since I read the book. Anyways, Riley is on vacation and then she gets summoned by her old pack leader. Apparently his granddaughter went missing and he wants Riley to find her. Riley doesn't want to, but she starts investigating anyways. So she asks around and doesn't find much. She ends up going home and spends time with her main lover. He actually ends up asking her to go exclusive and she kind of freaks. Apparently its a big deal when werewolves go exclusive and she just doesn't think she is ready. But she promises to think about it and ends up getting in an accident shortly after. I knew things would get interesting in this book quick. So until next time.....

Rebellious Love update.

Since I feel bad for not giving you guys a real preview, I figured it was only fair that I post a picture of one of my chapters. The contest is still going on strong and I'm hoping you guys will take part. I wish at least one of them was signed, but sadly none of them are. Anyways, here is a little something from my first book Rebellious Love. Sorry if it is a little hard to read, but its the best I could do. So until next time...

Rebellious Love cover contest

Hey guys, I'm in need of a little help. The book I'm writing is in need of a cover. Since I'm far from being creative in the art department, I'm asking for your help. Along with a preview, I'm doing a contest. Winner will not only have their book cover used with credit of course. You'll also get free books from bookshelf. Its only like four of them, but still free books. So all you have to do is create a cover, send it to me, and I'll pick a winner with my mom. I'll then contact the winner on November 26th. This contest is running from now to the 25th. The timeline is short because I have to get everything altogether and sent out by the end of the month. So here's what the book is all about. Not really a preview, but it gives you the gist of what the book is all about. So until next time....

Rebellious Love
In a world where the conspiracies said about the government are actually real. A place where everyone is stripped from their personalities, individuality, and even their freedom. A time where everyone pretty much looks exactly the same. Some would consider it The Perfect World.
But even perfect has an enemy. A Resistance has risen to fight back for who they truly are. The Perfect World wanted to prevent war, only to create one far more deadly. But even in the darkness, love seems to bloom.

Kari is the government leader's daughter. Troy is the resistance leader's son. Both want a world where they don't have to hide behind masks and be themselves. Her father would never approve of their love. His father dies only to pass on the legacy. Everything seems perfect when Kari turns her back on everything she knows in order to follow Troy's cause.
But even a perfect love has its limits. Kari gets taken back by the government. Troy become public enemy number one. Both struggle to reunite in the battle zone. Only problem is, some one is about to be betrayed.

Join the Resistance or believe in the Perfect World.

Finished reading Because of Low

I have written so much in the past four days that I feel like I'm hungover. Constantly staring at a computer is not good for my health, but at least I'm at least 10% done. I should celebrate for that achievement by finish reading one of the books I started reading before the month began. So why no finished Abbi Gline's book Because of Low? A lot happened since I last posted about this book. So much that I can't even tell you about it. Anyways, I did in fact finish the book after a few moments that had me on the edge of my seat. Esspecially when I know who the niece's father was before the main characters did. It also let to the huge break up that I knew was going to happen, because Abbi is known to do those heart breaking scenes. This one had to do with a misunderstanding and I spent the rest of the book wondering how they got back together. Either way, I loved the book. Like always and it was a nice reward for getting 10% done with Rebellious Love. So for those who haven't read this series yet, go check it out. I for sure will be picking up book number three from the library tonight after I go voting with my mother. Also if you are nice, I might post a little preview of Rebellious Love. Also I figured I'd do a little contest that gives you all of the books I don't want. All you have to do is help create a cover for Rebellious Love. I'll post more information on that after I give you a little preview. So until next time.....

Fun little update on my writing aka Rebellious Love

I figured I share with you guys the great progress I'm making today on chapter three. I've been up since 7:30 and have been writing since. My fam is laughing at me, but I just don't know why. The story I'm writing is called Rebellious Love and I think its going great. Just wish why some people are laughing at chapter three. Maybe you can explain to me what the problem is.

I'm just joking. I know the problem. One paragraph in five hours is not good progress. At this rate, the book isn't going to be done by the end of the month. Maybe if I know what I was doing for the cover I would do better. It might be the motivation I need. Anyone willing to help?

Started reading Because of Low by Abbi Glines

If you haven't noticed, I'm a huge Abbi Glines fan. Anyways it feels like forever for me to get this book from the library. Apparently there is only one library in the system that seems to have this book. Maybe there is two, but either way it took too long for me to get this book. I've been like number two for like two months. That isn't cool. But now I got it. Anyways, this is the sequel to Breathe. Breathe was like one of the first books I talked about when I first started this blog. That just shows how long I've been waiting for this book. Anyways, at the end of Breathe, Marcus leaves broken hearted because the girl he wanted chose the rockstar over him. Supposedly he is back now due to some family drama and is crashing with a friend of a friend. The book starts with him meeting Low right off the bad as a crying mess. He isn't sure what to do or think of the girl as she contacts his roommate Cage and pretty much gets told that she was the girl his roommate was going to marry. Low denies it and says that it was just Cage being Cage. Okay.....Anyways, Low apparently has some family drama as well that involves and ungrateful older sister. I say this because she tends to kick out the only family she has when she doesn't need Low to watch her daughter. Gotta love family especially in books. So Low ends up at Cage and Marcus's place a lot. Her and Marcus watch a movie which she falls asleep during. Marcus is smart and wakes her up before Cage returns, because he just doesn't want to cause trouble. No matter how innocent the scene may be. Who knows whether Cage will take it wrong or not, best to play it safe. Anyways, you get a glimpse into how complicated Low's life really is. You also get to see how she is starting to feel for Marcus, and vice versa. Anyways, I better get back to writing. I figured I would sneak in a small post to keep you guys happy. Also I'm planning on doing a giveaway once a week to keep things interesting. So until next time......
