Started reading Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout (Opal Spoiler Alert!!!!)

This series is almost over and I'm quite sad to think about it. I think there is only one book left after this one. What am I going to do with out my Daemon? Anyways, for those of you who haven't read and finished Opal, I suggest you don't even read this post. I'm going to give away a lot of spoilers because I can't help it when I talk about this series. So Opal ends with Katy getting captured. My heart nearly broke for Daemon because he knew there was no way of saving her and that he pretty much lost her the moment that security door fell between them. So Katy is now with the enemy and Daemon is on the hunt to save her. Also he might want to end up killing Blake since he fricken betrayed them at the end of Opal. I honestly didn't see that coming, he's a good actor. I was so mad. I'm also mad that our star crossed lovers are now apart, but is sure makes for a good story to see if these two will ever get back together. Anyways, I just started this book with a whole bunch of others. I wanted to get as much reading before November 1st rolled around, but it seemed I didn't finish any of them. I might sneak a few pages here and there, but I can't make any promises. So keep an eye out for more on this book or the others that I'm reading. I'll end up finishing them eventually. So until next time.....

Lick by Kylie Scott

So this is one of the books I just picked up from the library, and what do you know, I'm already finished with it. I also think it helps that I couldn't sleep at all. And the fact that the book was actually pretty good. My first thoughts reading it was the fact that I can sadly see myself end up in the same situation as the leading lady, Evelyn. Nothing like living the full Vegas experience by waking up hungover only to find out you got married. Totally see myself in that situation. I'm not saying that I ended up getting married in Vegas, but if I were to get married I wouldn't mind going that way. No second thoughts, no cold feet, no worries. Just jump right into hot water. And Evelyn did jump into some hot water. I'm not saying that because she so happened to have married a rock god, but their relationship is a bit rocky. He has issues due to getting screwed over in the past and well, she just likes living life as planned. But we all know nothing goes as planned. Either way I liked the book and I couldn't help smile and laugh at some parts. I look forward to reading the sequel to this book and see how it all plays out. Anyways, I highly recommend this book. I for sure only picked it up because of the hot guy on the cover. Call me shallow, but I like to appreciate a good looking model on a book cover every once in a while. Sadly I didn't fall in love with a guy that has a body like the said model. But I love his goofy self none the less. So until next time....

Finished reading Rowdy

I've been sneaking reading Rowdy as I try to read all of my library books. Yes, I was able to get my phone back. Anyways, I'm not sure where I left off with you guys when it comes to telling you what is going on in the book, but I'll tell you what is going on from where I remember. If I missed a chunk, you can go read the book because this series is no disappointment. So Rowdy and Salem are kind of in a relationship. He's still a little hesitant talking about Salem's sister or anything involving the past. Salem has been taken in by the group of girls that are dating all of our marked men so far, and maybe future ladies. Also Rowdy got a huge slap in the face by his past when someone came up to him claiming to be his sister. Of course his first reaction would be to not believe it, but do you blame him? He spent his whole life being pretty much alone. But maybe this is something that is good for him. He could at least hear her out. Right? Anyways, Salem goes and talks to the person that threw a curve ball at him. Gave some advice and got home to find her sister sitting in the hall all beaten up. I guess that tells the missing pieces in Rowdy's story about the past. Rowdy kind of runs when he sees Poppy, Salem's sister, and Salem took care of her sister. Salem learn the truth about her sister's life and Rowdy runs off to his new friend, Asa. They have a bit of a deep conversation where Rowdy pretty much admits his feelings for Salem. Anyways, Asa gives Rowdy some good advice that actually kind of surprised him. So Rowdy went home, got ready for bed only to have Salem magically appear. I guess she didn't want to sleep without him, so she went to him. These guys are in deep. But as if luck would have it, or should I say bad luck. Salem gets the wrong idea when she sees Rowdy hugging Poppy. It was kind of like her greatest fear coming to life. Rowdy tries to have Salem see reason, but I guess her mind is set at this point. Someone has his work cut out for him. Especially when Salem is doing everything possible to avoid him. But drastic times call for drastic measures that could involve conspiring against the sister of your girlfriend in order to kidnap her, drive her to the middle of nowhere, and make her talk. The plan actually went pretty well. I was expecting the two the hash each other out, but all it took was Rowdy saying that he had his cowboy hat. Salem was all about making up after hearing that. So they make up and get things straight only to come home to help out Asa. I couldn't help but feel bad for Asa because he's trying so hard to turn everything around, only to have some spoiled punk throw him in jail. At least this will help Rowdy get closer to his curve ball. Things are getting quite interesting in this book and I am sad that its so close to being over. But, I'm going to wrap up the last few pages. I'm going to also keep you guys hanging because I want you guys to support this amazing author by reading her book yourself. Also if you haven't noticed, I have a giveaway going on. I figured it would make up for the fact that I'm not reading as much. I'll post another one as soon as this one is over with. So go check it out because I'm being forced to clean out my shelf in order for me to get new ones. My mom can be so mean sometimes. I can't wait until I head off to the east coast and have as many books as I want. So until next time....

Reading Rowdy part 2

Okay, so I didn't read anything out of the other book I'm reading today. Just so happen I decided to take a nap instead while I waited for my phone to charge. I just can't stay away from Rowdy to be able to enjoy another book. So lets get talking about that handsome boy Jay Crownover has been talking about for the past few weeks since I first discovered her books. Anyways, Rowdy and Salem go to the park to throw a football around. Apparently it was something they did as kids and Rowdy wanted to relive the moment. Awwww. Instant puddle if a guy said that doing anything with me was the best time of his life. Anyways, they end up having a heart to heart by telling each other what happened after they left Loveless, Texas. Salem's story was pretty sad and kind of wants you to hate some of the people she lived with while she was struggling. But all and all the date went pretty well. Even had Rowdy ready to spend all of his time with Salem. He still has that fear she is going to leave because his good fortune doesn't hold off well. But what if his good fortune going bad doesn't have to do with Salem leaving? What if it is someone else that is going to interfere? You know something is going to go down. I wish I could peak and find out but my phone prevents me from doing that. I would make this post longer, but apparently I still have other things I'm supposed to be doing. Plus Grans isn't doing too well, as usual. Reading is Satan when she isn't feeling well. So until next time....

Reading Rowdy

I should be halfway through this book by now, but I'm not. And that makes me mad. Only because my mom is mean and likes to take my phone way from me just to see me beg. Parents sometimes. It to that point where I'm happy I'm moving to a different state. Anyways, you aren't here to see me complain about my mother and her thing against me reading all of the time. I should be happy that my mom isn't as bad as my Grans when it comes to my reading. So lets talk about Rowdy. We all know how much I love these tattooed boys in the series. Anyways, we all know that Rowdy was on the run from Salem since she came back into his life. It got so bad to the point that Salem pretty much grabbed him and demand that he talk it out with her. Girl got sass. Of course this lead to Salem getting a talking to from Cora. Rowdy and Salem still do circles around each other until Nash tells Rowdy that Salem is in charge of the new store. Rowdy discovers Salem's tattoo and ends up kissing her. Then runs as soon as Salem gets on the phone with her sister. That is when Salem decides that it is time to find out what really happened between them. Only she didn't expect it to be something so huge. You must read to find out what the huge secret is because I'm no telling. Anyways, Rowdy then tells Salem that she better get her mind straightened out because he wants to try being more then friends. Then it becomes Salem who is avoiding Rowdy like he's a disease. So in his approach to find Salem, Rowdy spills the beans about Ayden leaving and finds out that Shaw is pregnant. Which makes him congratulate both her and Rule. I was wondering when this was going to happen since is was kind of mentioned in Rome. Then Rowdy finally finds Salem, or Salem finds Rowdy surrounded by happy girls. Anyways Rowdy asks Salem to go out with him on the weekend. She agrees only to find out that their date is at the park. She can't help but joke asking if they are like twelve or something. Rowdy just brushes it off and then my phone died. This is why mothers are not allowed to take phones away because she wants you to spend time with the fam. Guess I'm reading my other book until my phone is charged. So until next time....

Started reading The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen

That is right, I'm reading two books at once again. Only because my phone likes to die in the middle of a chapter while I'm reading Rowdy. Its getting to the point that I want to throw my phone across my room. I actually won't because its the only way I'll be able to read Rowdy. Anyways, while my phone charges or decides to die while I'm wide awake at night, I'm reading The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden. I refuse to do that and symbol because I can't draw it in real life. So our story begins with Callie being forced to go in a party to go get her brother. She doesn't want to because of something that had happened when she was twelve. I'm not sure what, but I intend to find out. Anyways, Callie ends up seeing something that most people would pretend not to see and steps in. Then she gets her brother and leaves. And I mean the girl leaves. She ends up taking summer courses at the college she is attending. She ends up making a close friend that knows what happened to her. But on their way to harass some tour guides to help freshmen know where everything is, Callie runs into Kayden. Well Kayden more like ran into her. He doesn't recognize her at first because she looks different with longer hair and colorful clothes. Apparently she had short hair and wore black clothes all of the time. Anyways, he finally remembers her and he tries to talk to her but she is pretty scared of him. Probably because of who he hang out with in high school. Anyways, Callie's friend ends up inviting Kayden and his friend out to dinner with them and that is pretty much where I left off, because I fell asleep. Give me some credit I was reading this at like two in the morning. So until next time......

Started reading Rowdy by Jay Crownover

It was like fricken Christmas when I got this book on my phone. I was so excited that my mother looked at me like I was crazy. Of course I got to four words before my phone died. So with my phone being officially charged, and reading to chapter two in the first hour of reading the book. I'm already excited how this is all going to unfold. Rowdy is already bent sideways and avoiding Salem like she is a disease. He's also not keeping it a secret, but his past is about to be exposed to everyone he knows. So I'm going to try to read more of the book so I can tell you all about the exciting things going on this book. I'm practiacally jumping in my seat waiting for a chance to read this book and not put it down. Hopefully I'll be able to get the whole series in hard copy instead of as ebooks. But beggers can't be choosers right now. Maybe I'll actually get a gift card for my birthday next month so I can buy a whole bunch of books. So until next time....

Finished reading The Edge of Always

Finally I finish the book. Its a good book, but its mostly slow. Not something you should read when you have twelve other books. So lets get a talking about the book. Our two love birds have arrived in New Orleans. Andrew also just found out that his old friend died of a stroke. I'm going to add that this was literally and old friend. Anyways they have a good time and Cam ends up over thinking everything. So they leave and head to Texas. When they get there, they get married. Then they talk some more and move to Cam's home town. Andrew then tells Cam something she throws a little fit over. I understand because he biggest fear would to have Andrew die on her. Anyways, this is the point where I get confused. After the chapter about Andrew making sure that he doesn't have his brain tumor back, they then have a baby. It would be nice to have a heads up on whether Cam was pregnant again or not. Also I think it would of been nice to go through her emotions and thoughts during this pregnancy compared to the one before. Its like the whole experience got skipped and its kind of disappointing. Anyways, everyone is happy. And I think I'm going to leave it at that. I am honestly not 100% done with the book, but I want it to be done with already. So until next time.....

Reading The Edge of Always part 4

So I'm just going to jump into talking about the book because I want to get these post about the book done with. This is taking me way too long to read. Anyways, birthdays are celebrated since I left off last. Of course Cam was nice enough to throw a bucket of ice water on Andrew why he was sleeping. Which ended with him chasing after her through out the hotel halls naked. The boy as no shame. Then they end up going to a beach in some city. Get drugged. Andrew ends up getting in a fight and is completely angry with himself for the events that took place while being drugged. Then they end up in a new town, get part time jobs which lands into them betting. Basically they wanted to see who would get the most tips in one night. Cam pretty much owned Andrew on that one. Then they perform for a bit and have a pretty good time. But then it was time for them to leave and move on to a different state. As soon as they hit Louisiana, Andrew and Cam stop at the field they first tried to sleep under the stars and try again. They even have a serious conversation about what they wanted to be and all that. I think the whole scene is kind of sweet. And at this point I kind of peaked to see what is going to happen. I just read the conversations and didn't get much. I was more confused then anything. I learned absolutely nothing in my cheating, it was kind of disappointing. So I have to read in order for it to make more sense. So until next time.

Finished reading Deviant

I told you it was a quick read. Sure my phone died when I was close to the end, but I still finished it none the less. And there is nothing like picking the book back up to read about an almost sex scene happening in a hospital hallway. So now Sloane knows for sure who Zeth is, except she still doesn't know his name. Anyways Sloane is all bend up over Zeth to the point she goes to her best friend for some help. The have a pretty interesting conversation. So Sloane goes to work and tries to take care of Zeth's housemate. Only problem is she isn't corroborating. She even threatens to kill herself again. So as a bargain to have her see someone Sloane gives her a cell phone to call Zeth. Then told the girl to put the phone in the nightstand when she is done. Only problem with that is the fact that the cell phone is now gone because apparently Zeth doesn't want to be found. Also by have Sloane's phone in his hands, Zeth can't help but go through it. But I have to admit there little text war is pretty amusing. Anyways they decide to meet and Zeth has some plans going on for Sloane. Apparently Zeth invited Sloane to a little party he was having. Things might just get interesting from this point. And of course they do because the party isn't anything that is expected. I would be just as shocked as Sloane if I walked into something like that. Anyways it gets pretty intense. So intense that I don't think I should be reading this book in a room full of people. Longest sex scene ever and this book is defiantly not for children, and for some reason I can't put it down. I've spent like three chapters with the same sex scene and it felt like there was no end to it. But I does end and Sloane is pretty angry, I think more with herself then Zeth. She leaves and her absence really drive him mad. Also I guess since she pretty much submitted to him, she now belongs to him. Which results in the exchanging of keys and so on and so forth. Anyways, I'm going to leave it at that, because it would just ruin the book if I told you everything. You'll just have to read it yourself to find out what happens next. So until next time.....

Started reading Deviant by Callie Hart

I'm doing it again. I just got a like a bunch of free ebooks and I just so happen to be reading them instead of reading the book I should be, The Edge of Always. I'm a horrible person. Anyways, here is my first free ebook that I got and its quite interesting. Its pretty much a quick read, which makes it easier for me to reach 100 books by the end of the year. I'm no where near making my goal by the way. Anyways, the book starts off with our leading lady Sloane pretty much selling herself in order to get information about her sister. She is pretty much freaking out, but she goes through with it. The whole entire time she can't see because the man she is supposed to sleep with doesn't want any lights on. But she does get a slight glimpse of him as he leave out the door. Anyways, the more you read you find out that they guy is basically a hit man for what I assume is the mob or something like that. He also finds out that the guy that took him in is pretty much trading girls for money behind his back. Oh by the way our leading man is named Zeth. But back to the story. You learn that Zeth actually secretly has the hots for Sloane. But he kind of wants to avoid her, even when he gets shot. But he does go to the hospital when the girl he took in ends up trying to kill herself. Apparently this is actually a normal thing for Zeth if he leaves his housemate alone for too long. Anyways, just so happens that when he gets the hospital he runs into Sloane. He tries hard not to talk or anything, and you find out why. Apparently Sloane remembers the sound of his voice. Zeth pretty much lies and says that they don't know each other. Okay, maybe that is true. Anyways, I'm halfway through the book and I have some serious packing to do because I just got a  text stating my uncle is on his way home. So I have last minute cleaning to do before he gets here. So until next time....

Reading The Edge of Always part 3

Since now I have no excuse to not read this book, I'm back to reading The Edge of Always. Or, how I like to call it the Davey Havok book. I know the guy on the cover probably looks nothing like Davey Havok, but don't rain on my parade. I missed all of my opportunities to go see my favorite band of all time and this is most likely the closest I'm going to get. So just bare with me. Also I have to remember that these books are kind of slow in the beginning, which I hate by the way, and all the good stuff happens towards the middle, endish area. Anyways, they have started their road trip that Andrew think Cam desperately needs. He ends up getting them separate rooms at their first stop, and Cam is not too happy about it. She says its kind of pointless since they have been sleeping together and having sex tons of times. Andrew just shrugged it off and told her it was just for the night. Apparently it was good for her in his mind. He also leaves her an envelope to look at. Which she does and she ends up storming out of her hotel room. Kind of dramatic isn't she? Anyways, Andrew goes looking for her and end up having a heart to heart on the beach. Of course their heart to heart leads to sexual things which I think Cam secretly found quite thrilling. Anyways, I'm going to leave it at that because I have dogs to let out and a house to clean. My uncle supposedly is to return either today or tomorrow, and I haven't done anything he's asked me to do while he was away. Opps. So until next time.....

Finished reading Nash

So I just finished Nash this morning, which makes me sad. And as always I love the book as much as every book in the series. Now I don't think I can wait until Rowdy comes out, even if it only like five days ways. I feel like I need the book now. Anyways, lets talk about the final moments of Nash. The book almost went with out any heartbreaking moments where the relationship is on the line. But from what Saint walked in on, I actually thought the same thing she did. I even would of reacted the same way. Nash went after her when she tried to leave and explain. That is when she should of mention that she did call and he didn't answer. So she flees town, even the state. Has a wonderful heart to heart with her mom. Heads back home only to find out that Nash is at the worst part in his life because Phil is fading fast. So she practically tackles him when he answers the door, saying how sorry she was. The Saint stayed by Nash's side through the passing and funeral arrangements. Also I still think Nash's mom is a bitch and his stepdad is an ass. They even had the nerve to show up at Phil's funeral after saying all those horrible things about him. I also agree with Nash, his mom should of just let Phil have him and be done with it. I'm still mad about what she said to Nash when he went to get answers. Anyways, everything is pretty dandy. Nash named the new shop after Saint, I honestly thought he was going to propose. Nash hires Salem which really turned Rowdy's world upside down and that is pretty much where Jay Crownover left it off. In my mind I was screaming "No! You can't do this to me!" and I might have quickly texted my mom saying to make sure that money is in my account so I can get Rowdy when it comes out. I love this series too much, sadly none of the guys became my fictional boyfriend. But I did fall in love with one of Colleen Hoover's characters. I think I have a thing for extremely complicated guys. So until next time......

Reading Nash part 4

The funny thing about the internet going out is that I didn't enjoy reading as much. Probably because I couldn't talk to my mother and couldn't explain what was going on. This is when I really wish I had a phone. Stupid Sprint. Anyways, I'm surprisingly not finished with Nash yet. I have about a quarter of it left and I just know the heart breaking moment is coming up. Also I just finished reading the peak at Salem Cruz, the leading lady for Rowdy. Just made me super excited for the book to come out. Anyways, we are here to talk about Nash and not Rowdy. So I'm not sure where I left off honestly. Oh now I remember! They were having their date at a car garage, and I have to admit that it actually ends up being kind of romantic. Nash pretty much lets Saint into his world a little bit, but you'll have to read to find out. Then it leads to something that Saint always wanted to do in high school but never had the chance. She wanted to have sex in a car. This also inspires Nash to let her live out everything she missed in high school. But with all good things put aside, including the start of the new shop, Nash goes to see his mother. The boy is ready for some damn answers. He gets them and I kind of want to hit the woman. I'm not surprised that Nash ends up furious with her. I would be to if she admitted that she didn't want me because of who my father was. What a bitch. Luckly he had Saint to help him get his mind off of the conversation and make him all warm and fuzzy inside. I know somewhere around this part Nash pretty much told Saint that she was either all in it like he was, or she could just leave him the hell alone. It might of been after the whole ice skating date, but I'm not sure. Anyways, Nash's hands get fuller as Phil gets sicker. He knows he has to spend as much time as he can with Phil because he knows that his time with him is limited. Poor Nash. Anyways, Saint was nice enough to help out with Phil. So Nash returns the favor by helping her out with her nieces and nephews, which Saint's sister didn't like at all. Anyways, my phone died again so I have to let it charge before I can finish Nash. So until next time.....

Reading Nash part 3 (I don't think I need to warn about spoilers anymore)

Alright, I'm just going to jump in about the book. Only because this series is known for having a lot happen in such a short amount of time. So I will start by saying Saint had her way with Nash and then left him high and dry. She moved so fast that by the time he was able to make it into the hallway of the apartment building, she was long gone. Which lead to him getting some advice from his mysterious new neighbor. Nash just doesn't know what to think. Saint can't stop thinking about her little stunt either, even when she goes on her dreaded date with the doctor. She can't help but pick out the differences between men. So she gets to the party that she is supposed to be at with the good doctor. Only the good doctor is nothing but wanting to have the best date at the party. Saint quickly realizes that its a party where they try to out due each other. Its like high school all over again. But she decides that she has had enough and calls Nash to come rescue her. Then she tells off the good doctor, basically stating that she isn't just some show piece. I'm basically saying, 'you go girl'. She practically jumps into Nash's car, they go to her house, and Nash and her do the naughty. Basically its a sex scene full of insecurities and exploring each others boundaries. More like exploring Saint's boundaries. I don't think Nash has any. The next day, instead of enjoying the fact that she has Nash sleeping next to her, she gets called into work. Nash took that as a cue to leave, so he did. The guy could of put up a fight or something. Anyways, during the time they are apart, Saint sends Nash some flowers. My thought is 'shouldn't he be sending the flowers?' but who am I to judge. If that is the way Jay Crownover wanted to write her book, then let her write her book that way. I'm just the crazy person who thinks books are real. Anyways, after bailing her mom out of jail Saint finally calls Nash. They end up getting together where he takes her to the garage where he works on his charger from time to time. How romantic....Not. But like I said, I'm not here to judge. I love the book either way. But I have to put the book down, sadly. I have packing to do because my vacation is coming to an end. I just hope I don't try to kill my family the first day I'm home. That would be bad. So until next time......

Reading The Edge of Always part 2

I almost didn't finish this book and put it away. Almost, but I didn't. Because I can't do that to you guys. But, I will warn you that the closer November comes, the more my reading will dwindle. I'm not going to stop cold turkey because that will just drive me nuts. Anyways, my phone is currently charging meaning that I can't read anymore of Nash. Reason why I am now reading this book. So lets talk about what I've read so far. Andrew and Cam go visit Andrew's brother. They have a good time. I think I've already told you that, but I'm telling you again. Anyways, Cam has a heart to heart with Andrew's sister-in-law. Then they get offered to play at a bar that Andrew's brother owns. Also did I mention that Cam is now taking pills? If not, you now know. Anyways, its now show time. Apparently its the first show they've done since Cam lost the baby. Andrew is hoping that it will help Cam move one. I'm wondering when he will find out that she is taking pills. So the show goes quite well, and Cam sneaks another pill behind Andrew's back. Then she takes three more before bed. Cam says that she isn't addicted, but I'm beginning to think otherwise. After Cam sleeps until two in the afternoon, Andrew goes and finds her. He had a feeling something was wrong, and just so happens he finds a bottle of pills on the floor. He has a heart to heart with Cam. Cam almost leaves him, but he convinced her to give him a week. What ever that means. Surprise, surprise. Its a road trip. The very thing that had them fall in love with each other in such a short amount of time. Anyways, I'm going to go read Nash now that my phone is charged. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it and give this book my full attention. So until next time....

Reading Nash part 2 (spoilers if you haven't read Rome)

I'm still being naughty, but I just can't seem to put the book down at the moment. Now I know why I'm not allowed to get these books until I read a certain amount of other books. I read two to get this one and I didn't even finish the second one yet. So you can say I read one and a half. Hopefully I will read more books before Rowdy comes out, because I may have preordered it without anyone knowing. Opps. It was a moment of weakness. Anyways, Nash finally goes to see Phil. Granted he has no idea what to say, and I don't blame him. Not everyone finds out that their supposed uncle ends up being their dad. Nash tried hard not to yell at the guy like there was no end, but Phil pretty much dropped another bomb on Nash. Apparently Nash now owns a tattoo shop, and is in charge of opening a second one. Rule is also supposed to be his business partner. Phil sure knows how to shock the boys lately. Anyways, Nash goes to apologize to Saint. She is pretty much speechless and he kind of takes it the wrong way. Oh well. She ends up assaulting him with the best kiss ever a few days later anyways. Nash also finds out that Phil isn't going to tell him why the truth was kept from him. Apparently it is Nash's mother's story to tell. But, Phil does admit that he was in love with Nash's mom. I guess she just didn't want the time or day with Phil. Such a shame. But before the heart to heart with Phil, Nash asked Saint to go with him to Rule's wedding. Saint was planning on not going but her Christmas plans changed when her sister decided to run off with her family. Scared to face her parents by herself, Saint agrees to go with Nash. Sadly her boss doesn't think its a good idea and tries to hook her up with a doctor at the hospital. Really her boss just needs to stay out of the girl's business. Anyways, Saint goes to the wedding and ends up freaking out and almost left Nash with out a word. Good thing Phil was keeping an eye out for his son and told him that Saint was on the move. Nash did the right thing and chased after her, only to end up at his place. He was kind of upset that she would bolt on him, and she ended up being upset that he was upset. Saint ended up attacking Nash in a very sexual way. He wants to find out what is with her, and she is trying to wrap her head around on why he's different from what she remembered. I'm also beginning these two tend to get sexual when they are emotionally overwhelmed. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. So until next time.....

Reading The Edge of Always

Okay, so I'm back to reading because my visitors have left me. Its a good thing too because I was about ready to strangle my brother. Not really, just a figure of speech. As much as that little bugger gets on my nerves and has no consideration for rules, I still love him. Anyways, I'm not sure where I left off in the book since I've been spending time with my mother and playing video games with my brother. So, I will just start talking about the book at the point I think I left off. If I'm wrong. Oh well, I'm human with horrible memory. Anyways, Andrew and Cam lost their baby. It is kind of sad. I was hoping that she wouldn't lose it. But I guess some books just don't go the way you want it too. Cam took it pretty hard, like any mother to be would. She tries to move on and so does Andrew. Only problem is, I guess they both have different ways of moving on. Andrew wants to talk about it, Cam does not. Cam says that she is fine, Andrew thinks she should go talk to someone about it. So on and so forth. Anyways, everything is a little awkward. Especially with the fact that Andrew and Cam can't do the naughty as much as they want because they are staying at Cam's old place. They are highly agreeing that they needed to get their own place. Anyways, Cam surprises Andrew when she says that its a good idea to go visit Andrew's brother in Chicago. He kind of questions her in his own way, but they end up going anyways. They end up having a good time while they are there. And that is as far as I got because I had a moment of weakness and started reading Nash. At least I have about a week to read this book and others before Rowdy comes out. So until next time.....

Reading Nash by Jay Crownover (Spoilers if you haven't read Rome)

I admit that I've been a very bad girl. Instead of reading The Edge of Always like I should be, I'm here sitting reading Nash. How could I not read this book after how Rome ended? It was all I could think about. What did Nash do to Saint that made her hate him? Why didn't Phil tell Nash that he was his dad? Why keep it a secret at all? So many questions and only one get answered so far. Apparently back in high school, there was possibly a misunderstanding. I have a feeling there was and Saint just heard Nash talking about some other girl. Saint just naturally assumed because of her low self-esteem. If only she knew that Nash figured that she was out of his league and not the other way around. Anyways, apparently Nash avoids everyone for a week because of the news that was just thrown on his lap. Everyone is trying to make him come to his senses and spend what little time he has left with Phil. Saint even breaks rules in order to snap him out of it. Sure she gets assaulted with the best kiss ever, but at least the girl tried. It takes Rule storming in Nash's place for the guy to get up and get out. Not like he had any choice because I guess Rule looked ready to beat some sense into the guy. So until next time.....

Started reading The Edge of Always by J. A. Redmerski

Okay, I just have to point out the fact that the guy on the cover kind of looks like Davey Havok from AFI. Which is pretty awesome. So this is the sequel to the book The Edge of Never. I don't remember much from the first book because it was a while since I've read it. All I remember is that Cam randomly went on a bus one day. She met a guy named Andrew and they went on a major road trip together. Both of them ended up falling in love with each other only to find out that Andrew had a brain tumor. At least I think it was a brain tumor. Apparently he had it for a while and had been putting off doing something about it. He nearly died, but pulled through. The book ended with him proposing to Cam and her telling him that she was pregnant. The end. I'm sure there was more, but that's all I remember. So lets talk about his book. It takes place a few months after the first one left off. Which I kind of like. Anyways, it starts off with them getting ready to go to the doctor's for an appointment to see the baby for the first time. They're just a bundle of nerves like every new parent. Cam is pretty much second guessing everything and worries about everything. Like I said, typical first time mom. But Andrew surprises her by taking her back home to see her mom and the best friend that he only tolerates to Cam's sake. Her mom and best friend then throw a small baby shower for them, but Cam cuts out short because she's tired. Everyone is pretty much worried about her. So far out of all the books that I've read lately, the pregnancies don't go so well. Hopefully this one does. But, I'm going to wrap up this post and enjoy the company of my mom. She came to visit me with my brother while I'm on my little get away vacation and I have to admit, I kind of missed them both. So I probably won't get any reading done while they are here. So until next time....

Finished reading Ugly Love

Oh. My. Gah. I officially want this book in my personal library. Also I think Miles just went in the running to become my new fictional boyfriend. Not sure why, but I guess once you look past the protective barrier he's got going on, he is pretty much perfect boyfriend material. But, I'm getting way ahead of myself. Things get more complicated since I left off. I think Miles got a little overwhelmed with what he was feeling and ran. Sounds like someone I know.....Anyways, back to the book. Tate pretty much thinks what they had was over and consumed tons of chocolate, because everyone knows that chocolate soothes a girl's broken heart. Honestly chocolate is basically a girl's best friend no matter the occasion. But, Miles gets jealous because Tate had a guy over at her apartment to study for a test or something. Tate pretty much tells him its not any of his business whether or no she is sleeping with someone else. Then some how their fight turns into a sex scene, that ends with them getting caught by Corbin. And man, is Corbin pissed at Miles. So much so that he pretty much kicks Mile's out of the apartment. Tate runs after Miles and they gets a talking. They reset some ground rules, and I'm pretty sure it is going to nip them in the butt at this point. Also good old wise Cap is noticing something that Tate isn't. I'm kind of noticing it too. Miles in in love with Tate and just won't admit it. It is so obvious. This is an example that actions speak louder then words people. Just saying. He even comes running to her when she is freaked out that a plane crashed. Even called his boss to make sure that Corbin was okay for her. Probably for his own peace of mind too, but still its something you don't do if you are doing a no strings attached relationship. Anyways, lines are starting to get burred between them and Tate can't help but fall in love with Miles more. Miles is even starting to let her see a little bit of his past. I'm sitting and waiting for the moment he finally confesses what he's feeling. But I'm going to wrap up what I'm reading and leave you guy hanging. Read the book, you'll love it. So until next time....

Reading Ugly Love part 2

Now that I'm officially done with Rome, I can focus on this lovely book. The book that ruined all books for me because it is just that good. Anyways, I don't know where I left off with you guys, so I'm just going to jump right into it. Tate and Miles go curtain shopping for his extremely bare apartment. Tate feels like this is extremely intimate, and I think Miles is going to be the one to break his own rules. He probably tells himself that he is just doing something friends do everyday and that is all Tate is, a friend. If that is so, then his is in for a big surprise. It even pains him to admit that he likes kissing Tate. Tate may secretly love the guy, but she is at least smart enough to tell herself that she doesn't want to get wrapped up in him. Even if its impossible for her. Anyways, a few days later, Miles gets promoted and everyone decides to celebrate. Tate and Miles have a moment while Corbin's back is turned on them and their friend Ian is in the restroom. Its sweet and you can't help but think that Miles is falling for Tate. There is also a few other moment and Miles hinting what he wants right in front of everyone. Luckly only Tate understood what he wanted or Corbin would be on a man hunt for Miles's neck. Everyone goes their separate ways after eating. Then there is a Kissing-in-the-rain scene. That there makes me want to melt just by reading it, because kissing in the rain is so romantic. Anyways, who thought that kissing in the rain would lead to a sex scene? Not something I'd envisioned, but I'll go with it anyways. So after the sex scene, Tate goes down and talks to Cap, the elevator man. She asks him if he's ever been in love and he tells the story about the woman he loves. She finds his story a little sad, but Cap doesn't regret any of it. And then its a chapter about Miles, I really want to tell you, but still want to keep the mystery alive. But his past is all starting to make sense to the way he is now. I don't want to reveal anything mind blowing right now, so I'm going to go. Not missing much, just a lot of sex scenes going on and more of Miles's past gets revealed. Loving this book so far. Sad that I'm almost done with it though. So until next time....

Finished reading Rome

I'm so forcing myself to finish this book, because I want to read more of Ugly Love. Anyways, Rome now owns a bar. He also declares his love for Cora. She is pretty much shocked that he would say such a thing. Also she is still living in the past and is afraid that Rome is going to hurt her just as bad as her ex. The girl really needs to leave the past in the past and live in the now. Anyways, Cora's ex comes into the picture because he wants to make amends and take Cora back. Boy isn't he a little too late? He got quite a shock to find her pregnant and pretty much doesn't love him anymore. Cora even ends up saying something that she should have. Rome gets pissed and drives off to work. Cora decides that she was going to talk to him and apologize for what she said. Sadly, Rome gets shot. I swear to God that I thought the guy was going to die. I might have cried a long with Cora while she was going through the whole thing. Luckly he pulls through. Just in time to see his brother propose to the love of his life. Could of picked a better setting, but he at least proposed. So that is pretty much the rest of the story. Most of the ending of the book is you being on the edge of the seat wondering if Rome was going to live or die. I could go into more detail of the end of the book, but where would the fun be in that?  I want you guys to read it, not ruin the book for you. But, once again I fall in love with the Marked Men series and about ready to beg my mom to get me Nash and Rowdy. So far none of these guys became my new fictional boyfriend. Rule is the only one that came pretty damn close, but Travis Maddox still takes the cake. Alright, I'm going to head out, drink my coffee, and read some more of Ugly Love since its the only book I want to read now. Darn you Colleen for writing a book that got me hooked with in its first few pages and ruined all other books for me. But who am I to complain. So until next time.....

Reading Ugly Love

If you haven't noticed, I'm reading two books at once again. I figured it help with my time line if I read Ugly Love between the times that my phone is charging, since Rome is an ebook that I got through my Kindle app. Anyways, I'm going to keep the mystery of Miles alive with this book. Make you guys want to read it. So Tate came home from work only to find a bunch of guys in her brother's apartment. Apparently they all get together to watch the game, even when her brother is not home. Miles mentions that she can study at his place, which she does because she wants to learn more about him. Only problem is that there is nothing to see in his apartment. Major disappointment to Tate when she tried to snoop. But she is surprised when she finds out that Miles is a pilot, and is highly impressed. This actually confuses her because she wasn't impressed when another guy told her he was a pilot. Of course she has to say something out of line and make things awkward between Miles and her. Silly Tate. Its more awkward when he joins her and her brother for Thanksgiving with their parents. She can't help but stare at him in the care, Miles even caresses her foot while Corbin, Tate's brother, is sound asleep. Something is brewing here. Anyways, while they are all at Tate's and Corbin's parent's house, Miles ends up getting hurt trying to play hero. Tate fixes him up the best she could, and even tells him that if he dies, she had no part in fixing him up. Also apparently all it takes for Miles to put the moves on Tate is to have her close to him, stitching up his hand. Who knew? Anyways, Miles ends up kissing Tate only to leave her hanging, and tells her to never let him kiss her again. I'm thinking the same thing she is at this point. What the hell Miles? So all the way through dinner, Tate can't stop thinking about the kiss. She also learns that Miles hasn't had a girlfriend for like six years. Its also to the point that Corbin spent three years thinking that Miles was gay. Corbin then says something and Miles pretty much closes everyone off. I'm guessing Corbin said something he shouldn't have. So fast forward to night time. Tate can't sleep and she notices the Miles is up, the creeper. Tate, not Miles. Anyways, she decides to follow him. Like I said before, the creeper. Of course, I don't blame the girl. If he's hot, I'd follow him around like a lost puppy too. But back to the story. Anyways, they end up talking a little bit. They admit that they are attracted to each other and Miles pretty much asks to just have sex with Tate. She pretty much just turned to mush. The girl needs some self respect. So they all head home because they all have to return to work. Of course that doesn't stop like the hottest scene I've read in a book so far. Not sure why. Honestly I think all of the naughty scenes are pretty hot. And that makes me sound like a complete perv. Gosh I'm terrible. Anyways, Miles pretty much gives Tate the brush off afterwards. My thoughts where, what did you expect? But, I'm going to wrap up this chapter and try to finish Rome by Jay Crownover. But I'm pretty sure this book just ruined all other books for me. If you read it, then you'll understand what I mean, hopefully. So until next time.....

Reading Rome part 4

I was finally able to finish the part where I left off when my stupid phone died. Anyways, sex scene is over and then Cora is worried about getting pregnant after doing the deed twice with no protection. Of course, they continue to do it I believe. Rome is taking it in stride, even if it involves a kid. Anyways, Rome is now running the bar where he works because the owner is busy doing other stuff. He even requited Ayden's brother Asa to help him out. I have a feeling that might be a big mistake. But, Rome doesn't care and willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. So Rome goes to Cora's and they go to bed. Only to have Rome wake up in the middle of the night and run off because he had some crazy flash back dream. Poor guy can't get some peace of mind. Maybe he should get some help and also let Cora see the dark side of him. That way he can get it off of his chest instead of holding it all in. Anyways, in his time of absence Cora finds out that she is pregnant. And as if Rome has like Cora senses, he shows up at her work in order to apologize for his behavior and almost gets in a fight with Rule. Cora tells everyone the news, Rome is pretty excited, Rule was angry then excited, Nash can't get out of his shock, and Rowdy just goes with the flow. I stand corrected. I think Rowdy is going to be my favorite out of all of them. Anyways, Rome is finally getting help to get his head back on straight. I guess walking out on Cora was kind of the slap in the face he needed. Anyways, things are going good. Cora even put a halt on everything and just wanted them to take their relationship slow. Rome describes it as being put in the friend zone by his pregnant girlfriend. I couldn't help but giggle at that point. During one of their date nights, Rome kind of fell asleep and remembered the day that Remy died. Its kind of sad and you can't help but feel bad for the guy. Good thing he had Cora there to comfort him from the memory. Rome then told her what his dream and thoughts were about. Cora just sat there and listened. It is just a heart warming scene. Anyways, they have yet another sex scene and all seems good. Cora even plans something with Shaw in order to make everyone feel better about Remy's passing. Everything seems to work out just fine, and to make things crazy Rome carries Cora out of the house telling his parents that she was pregnant and that he'll see them next week. I couldn't help but burst out laughing at that point. I could just picture it in my mind. And what do you know? My phone dies. Thank the lord that I was done with the chapter when it happened. I'm quite curious on what is going to happen next. So until next time......

Started reading Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

Okay, I don't know how long I've been waiting to read this book. It feels like forever. But I finally get to read it. Yay! Okay so here is the lowdown on what I've read so far. Our  main lady Tate arrives to live with her brother. Of course the person she meets mentions that she was stabbed in the next in a past life. She can't help but think the guy is crazy. So then she gets to her brother's apartment only to have a drunk guy leaning against the door. Not sure what to do, she calls her brother. He tells her get into the apartment and lock all of the door. Funny thing is, she left her things out in the hallway when she was in such a hurry to get to safety. So her bother calls his friend Miles to help her get her stuff. Only to find out that the drunk guy in the hall is actually Miles. So Tate has to drag him in to the apartment until he sleeps off what ever he drank. After Tate gets settled in, she discovers a crying Miles that is calling her Rachel. She doesn't know what to do, and isn't able to sneak away from him until he falls asleep. Anyways, the book then switches time periods when it goes to Miles's point of view. I think its to help the reader under stand Miles better. I'm not sure so don't hold me against it. Anyways, you find out Rachel is this girl he went to school with and had a huge crush on. Also the way his point of view is written is like a poem. It is quite interesting. Then it switches back to Tate waking up to a very grumpy Miles. He can't remember much, so she decides to have a little fun with it. At least her brother shows up and keeps them from killing each other. I just started this book and I already love it. I kind of don't want to put it down in order to tell you what is going on. So we'll see when I'll post again. Hopefully it will be when I'm halfway through the book. So until next time.....

Reading Rome part 3

So I left off in the book with Cora practically molesting Rome with her eyes while he is a sleep. The girl has no shame when the guy is complete unaware of what she is doing. At least she knows that she was being a creeper by doing that. Then she gets the surprise of her life and get pulled on to the bed, pinned by Rome's massive body. I bet she feels slightly awkward, or maybe not because she is pinned under a very hot guy. I know I wouldn't mind being pinned down by a smoking hot guy any day. Just saying. Cora probably thought the same thing because there was a sex scene the next day. Then they act like nothing happened, or at least Cora did. Rome can't stop thinking about it, even when he is headed to have lunch with Shaw and work things out. Shaw even gave him some eye opening advice that he pretty much takes to heart. I think things are about to get interesting the more I read. And what do you know? It does get interesting. Everyone is at Jet's show, and Cora finally fesses up to Rowdy that she slept with Rome. He ends up giving her a little peak into his past, which amazes her. But, then Rowdy turned it around back to Cora and told her that her one and only would come around leaving her unsure of what to do. Of course that talk ended with Rowdy glancing in Rome's direction. So when Rome decides that he wants to leave with out seeing the band play, Cora gives him a little attitude. A moment you can't help but smile because Rome's come back was him reminding Cora of their little tango in her bed. I feel bad for Rowdy because he is uncomfortably in the middle of this little exchange. Anyways, Rome storms off getting the last word. It kind of impresses Rowdy that someone was able to get the last word on Cora. So the next day Cora decides that she just wants to talk things out with Rome. Sadly Rome wasn't home, but Nash was and he couldn't help but remind her why what she was doing was such a bad idea. So when Rome returns from his run, he doesn't even give Cora to explain herself. Poor girl. He also had the last word which I guess kind of bugged Cora to the point she pretty much followed him to his bedroom. Of course he was in the shower when she got there and started to look around the room. Cora ended up looking at an old picture of Rome with his two brothers, Rule and the deceased Remy. Which led to a serious conversation between Cora and Rome. The conversation led to Cora laying all on the line, and then they started to have sex, and then my phone died. It had the worst timing possible. So I'm going to charge it and hopefully be able to tell you guys more later. So until next time......

Reading Rome part 2

I can't help but drool over the cover. But, lets get past the fact that I'm completely lusting over these models that are used for book covers. I want one by the way, so tell me where they find these smoking models. Anyways, enough of me being a total girl, lets talk about the book that I've been sneaking every once in a while. So Rome showed up at where Cora works because he wanted to talk to his brother Rule. I guess the guy kind of wanted to apologize for his behavior and he even apologized to Cora. Which led to a small flirting session and a good talking to Cora from Nash. I have a feeling Nash is going to be my favorite by the ways. But we aren't here to talk about Nash, we are here to talk about Rome. The older Archer brother, so they describe him in the book. So Cora is closing up shop when her boss Phil walks in. Apparently he doesn't look well, and she can't shake the feeling that something is wrong with her old family friend. Of course, he isn't going to tell her anything. So she changes the subject to Rome. You can say she is trying to know more about the guy. I think he got under her skin pretty quick and she just doesn't know it yet. Meanwhile, Rome gets a job at the bar where he ended up getting in a fight in. Its basically so he can pay back for the trouble he caused. He did offer money, but the owner just wanted him to work there. At least he now has something to do during his free time. But that doesn't stop his night terrors or the late phone calls from overseas giving him updates on what is going on. I don't think any of his what ever you call them, they just don't want to let Rome go. Its also making Rome getting over what he saw not any easier. Anyways, after a long day Rome's boss ends up calling Cora's work place looking for Rule. Sadly Rule ran out of the shop after getting a call from Shaw about a leaky water heater. So Cora had Take-Rome-Home duty. She more like volunteered. Nothing like taking home a drunk Rome, it's quite entertaining to read. Of course Cora takes Rome to her place instead because Nash wasn't home to help her drag the guy in the house. It also give Cora a chance to check out Rome when he is passed out on her bed. I'm starting to think that her plan isn't going to work out the way she wanted it to. I'm going to stop now. I'm about a fourth of the way through the book. I'll write again when I'm about halfway. I'm really tired, so I'm just going to call it a night. So until next time......

Finished reading Opal

Yay! I'm finally done with Opal. Okay, not really, but this will be my last post for it. Anyways, lets get talking about Opal. So, it is time to build up a tolerance to onyx for our crew. Daemon didn't hesitate to put the biggest piece of onyx on Blake's face. But to his disappointment, Blake is immune to its pain. Darn. Then everyone started holding the onyx until they dropped. After they call it a night, Daemon almost kills Blake....again, and Katy toughs out going to her room. I say that because of the events that had happened in it. In other news, Katy's friend has been reported missing. This makes it so much harder on Katy, because she knows what happened to her friend but she has to play clueless. I feel bad for the girl. So she joins the search party in order to keep up the act. Of course, she leaves early to go on a 'date' with Daemon. Really they were hunting down Blake's friend and ask some questions of their own. So the trip was full of games and Daemon's huge ego. You'll understand what I mean when you read the book. The whole scene made me smile. Even their arrival at the club made me laugh. I kind of want a love like that. Anyways, the meet with Blake's friend. They get some information, and some of it is pretty mind blowing. You find out what Opal does to Luxens and hybrids. Its pretty cool. Now if only they could get there hands on some. Anyways, opal problems put aside. Apparently prom is fast approaching. Katy doesn't think she deserves if after loosing a best friend, but Daemon talks her into it. He also gets her a new expensive laptop. And then, they find some opal under Katy's bed. Its like fricken Christmas for them as they tend to try it out. It also solves their onyx issue, only problem is that only one can hold it. Unless someone gets more opal somewhere. So the opal is a secret right now. Also Katy has prom dress shopping to worry about with her friends and Daemon's ex. Yikes. Of course, Katy and Lesa couldn't help but pick on the said ex with every opportunity they got. So after a fun day of shopping, everyone goes home. Katy gets a small surprise when she walks in her kitchen. Nothing like seeing your mother's crazy boyfriend, who was reported missing, sitting at the table waiting for you. What a creeper. I'm sure the guy has seen better days. The way its described of what he looks like kind of sounds scary to walk in your house to see. I would of screamed and ran next door at the sight if I were in Katy's position. Maybe then she wouldn't of gotten shot and....I'm leaving at that. I know I'm such a sucker. You'll just have to read the book to see if Katy lives or dies. I know some of you are saying "obviously she lived if there is a fourth book". So I'm going to finish my last few pages and finish Rome so I can read Ugly Love. I have a lot to do. So until next time.....

Reading Opal part 3

I wonder what Blake was thinking the moment the door opened up and Dee was punching him in the face shortly after. I'm sure it would be in interesting scene to see in person or in a movie. Anyways, I'm making good progress on the book. I might actually be able to get Ugly Love done by the time my mom gets here on Saturday. I say this because I have to finish this book and finish Rome before I can read Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. I have to admit that I did take a peak in Ugly Love, and no I did not read the ending. I just read the first few pages. Its quite interesting. But lets get back to Opal. After Blake gets punched in the face, they talk about their mission. Also Katy realizes that she needs to practice on her running at a very high speed. Apparently its not as easy as it looks. Good thing she has Daemon and Dawson to help her out. A little while later, Dawson and Daemon leave to go eat and Katy stayed to run more. Blake magically shows up, and ends up getting punched by Katy. I couldn't help but giggle a little with what he had to say after that. Of course, the guy should of been such a creeper. Anyways, he admits that he wanted to talk and try to fix things with Katy. Okay, he didn't exactly say it like that, but I think that is all he wants to do. I also think Blake still has a thing for Katy. I'm waiting for Daemon to finally really punch the guy. Anyways, someone from the DOD came for a visit. Made everyone doubt their mission, but they still did it. Everything was going fine until the organization came up with airborne onyx, no one predicted that. Made them all run for the river to wash off the stuff. Time for plan B I guess, or else Dawson is going to storm the place. Anyways, it was enough to make Daemon finally punch Blake in the face. Only because he figured Blake new about the airborne onyx. So after the exciting event of a failed mission, everyone goes home. Well except Katy because Daemon pretty much kidnapped her. They have a really heated moment and right when they wear about to do the naughty, Dawson acts up and Andrew comes running to Daemon for help. Talk about being a total cock-blocker. Daemon agrees too. Anyways, in order to get around the onyx, Blake comes up with an idea to build a tolerance up to it. Katy is more then happy to test that theory out on Blake. After the meeting, Katy goes home only to get attacked by her best friend. The DOD knows no boundaries. The jerks. I will also say that Katy is now one less normal friend. How sad. Of course during the whole entire scene my thoughts were "where the heck is Daemon?". Isn't he supposed to sense whether Katy is in trouble or not? Or, he could at least check on her. Oh wait, Daemon does come, after the fighting in over and Katy almost getting killed. The jerk. But he makes up for it by comforting Katy while she cried over friend. If only Dee was willing to work things out with Katy, then they could comfort each other while Daemon cleaned up the mess. Anyways, I'm going to plan out how I'm going to read three books by Saturday and hopefully pull it off. So until next time.....

Reading Opal part 2

I think Daemon is one of my favorite characters of all time. I'd also wouldn't mind having him as my fictional boyfriend. Badass attitude and all. Anyways Katy, Daemon, and Blake all arrive at their destination and Daemon is about ready to kill Blake for checking out Katy's outfit. I believe the scene is the funniest yet, because I can so picture it happening. Of course, Blake isn't the only one checking Katy out. Anyways, they go see who they went to see. Only problem is that they person they are seeing only wants to see Blake. So Katy ends up pulling Daemon onto the dance floor and they have a pretty heated moment. Daemon nearly decked Blake in the face when he came to get them. And at this point, I'm starting to think that Blake has a death wish because he keeps saying and doing things that make Daemon angry and ready to kill him. Poor Katy. Anyways, they go in the back room and Katy pretty much gets the surprise of her life. She finds out that the person they are meeting is just a little kid. According to what they say, they played a risky game and ended up almost dying. She then asks how he got away from the organization that is after them, and he says that he became smarter then his teachers. He ends up explaining in more detail, but I just don't feel like telling you. Anyways, they get the run down on what they are supposed to do in order to rescue Blake's friend and Dawson's girlfriend. To me, the whole thing seems to be too easy. Anyways, later in the week Daemon and Katy have another pretty heated moment, and then it ends in an argument. Its the typical argument that they have, she wants to go with them Sunday and he doesn't want her to go. Of course then Daemon has a bad day and Blake doesn't help matters by pushing Daemon's buttons. Then Daemon's mood shifts instantly. I think the guy has alien bipolar or something because his mood swings are worse then a girl. Anyways, Blake sends a Katy a text saying that they needed to talk about their mission. Katy wishes that Blake would loose her phone number and Daemon wishes that Blake would just disappear of the face of the earth. Both have different reasons to hate Blake. So the Luxen elders arrive. They know that Daemon is dating Katy, but they don't know that she is a hybrid. Apparently no one is supposed to know, not sure why because I don't remember. Anyways, Katy goes home and waits for Daemon. Only thing is, he doesn't show. So she goes to investigate and find out that he isn't home either. Daemon when running off with his sister and ex-girlfriend. Imagine how Katy feels about that. So while she waits for his return, Katy talks to Dawson a bit. The talk to about midnight, and guess what.....Daemon is still not home. So Katy thinks Daemon is going back to Ash and all insecurities are at an all time high. So Katy goes back to his house the next day because Daemon promised breakfast, only he's still asleep. They talk a bit and try to get everything straight. You know instead of fighting and giving the cold shoulder, they could just skip all of that and talk it out. Its not that hard. Anyways, I'm about halfway through the book now, so hopefully I'll post again at the end of the book. Maybe sooner. I'm not sure. Depends what all happens in the book. So until next time.....

Reading Rome by Jay Crownover

I told myself that I wouldn't do it, and damn it. I did it. I started reading Rome before I finished Opal. I just couldn't help it. The series is just too good. But, I'm putting it aside now because I have to finish Opal before one of you decides to kill me. So this is what I read so far. Remember in the last scene in Jet where Cora spills her beer all over Rome's head. If not, that is probably because you didn't finish the book or you just haven't read it yet. Anyways, this is where this book starts. Cora's reasoning is that Rome was being a jerk and treating Rule's relationship with Shaw as if it was a joke. I wouldn't of poured my drink of him, but I would of given him some choice words if I was in Cora's situation. Anyways, by doing that, she got under his skin. He just doesn't know it yet. So Rome runs off to a bar, ends up getting in a fight, and calls Nash to come rescue him from the hospital. And, the hospital scene just gets you stoked for the next book Nash. I want to know what Nash did to get on Saint's bad side. My begging for that book has already started, but I think I'm going to up it a notch because now I really want the damn book. My mom should just get me the whole series and pre-order when ever there is a new one coming out. I'm just saying. It would save her a huge headache. Anyways, I pretty much left off right there and started to scold myself. So I'm telling myself that when I finish Opal, I can then read Rome. So I guess I have to hide my phone from myself now, or I'll be tempted to pull up my Kindle app and read Rome. So until next time.....

Reading Opal

I know I've been slacking and have been missing for a few days. I'm sorry. That's what I get when I finally decide to finish an old series that I read back in middle school. I'm not finished yet with it, but I'm pretty dang close. Also the reason why I'm now censoring myself is because I just found out that fam is now stalking my blog. They probably already know that I swear, but lets not take any chances. But, I finally picked up Opal, well more like unpacked Opal since I'm chilling at my uncle's for a few days. Also I've been signing up and preparing for National Novels Writers Month. I think that is what its called. Either way, I'm writing the whole month of November and then entering my piece in a contest. Not sure what the prize will be if I win, but I thought it would be fun. So the whole month of November, I will not be reading. You can start a riot later.
Anyways, lets get talking about Opal, which I realized that I'm really slacking in this series. Not only does my mom tend to steal the books from me, but I can't remember many of the characters. I literally sat for five minutes trying to remember who Lesa was. I'm still not sure who it is. Dang you Daemon for being so hot on the cover. Anyways, I guess I missed a few pages somewhere or I wasn't really paying attention, because my house is a mad house, but I guess Katy and Daemon are going somewhere for something. I don't remember what. I know I should but I don't. So if someone is reading this book too or has read it, can you please refresh my memory. I feel like an idiot for not remembering. Anyways, back to the book. Katy and her friend Lesa are having a heart to heart, kind of. Lesa pretty much picked out an outfit for Katy to wear for when Katy goes out with Daemon to where ever they are going. After the outfit has been chosen Lesa asks about Daemon and Katy's answer sounds like a romance novel. Then they talked all serious about Dee and how she is acting. Lesa even mentions some rumors that were going around and Katy kind of internally panics. Not sure why. Its not like everyone believes that they are going to school with a whole bunch of aliens. They are more like thinking mob hit or something like that. Katy needs to chill. Anyways, I think this post is long enough. I'll be sure to write more. So until next time......

I got Opal back!

For those who have been wondering what the hell I've been doing for the past few days, I've been enjoying being home from my mini vacation from the fam. Nothing like going to a quiet small town to get a lot of reading done. Anyways, I took a break from reading too. I also was going to finish Original Sin, but as I continued to try to read it, I realized that it just wasn't happening. Maybe I'll read it again one day, maybe not. We'll never know. Then I tried to read Love Gone Mad by Mark Rubinstein, but I found out I'm too scattered brain for that book. Didn't even think it was right to rate and talk about a book that I am too easily distracted to read. So I removed it from all of my reading lists and figured that one day I will be able to read the book. Then I figured I'd read Barely Breathing by Rebecca Donovan. I made some good progress on the book, but then my family keeps me too busy to even read the book. Its like they know I'm about to pick it up or that I just started a page, and then they are asking me to do a whole bunch of things. It makes my head spin. So after three failed attemps on reading, my mom told me that she can't read Opal because she peaked. She knows how it ends and now she can't finish it and just wants the fourth book. Which means, I got the book back. I'm so happy. Anyways, I'm not sure where I left off with you guys, but I will say that they had their meeting with Black and Katy finally confronts Dee. I think Katy got more out of Blake then she did with Dee. Can't Dee see that the girl is trying. Anyways, I'm off to read some more of Opal. I'm pretty sure I'll have this done before I leave town for two weeks. So until next time.....
