Reading Love Unscripted part 3

I'm finally halfway through the book, actually a little farther then that, but I'm now starting to just breeze through the book. I'm not sure why it was taking me so long to read the damn book. Anyways, our lovers finally give into desire and everything is dandy. Well, until you have the paparazzi and tabloids saying things that aren't even true. Reason why I don't read magazines in the first place. You never know what the put in them is true or not. Luckly this lovely author shows the lies the tabloids can tell. But I guess that is just the way the cookie crumbles. But anyways, our two love birds don't only have screaming fans and jealous co-stars trying to test their boundaries. We also have a stalker in the shadows. But I'm thinking the lady is stalking Taryn and not Ryan. Anyways, things are getting crazy for Taryn and she is a little overwhelmed. Good thing she has Ryan there to help her get used to the new life she has. Or, is he? There are still some situations that still have no answers and we all know every romance needs some killer heartache that makes you want to cry. Its only a matter of time. So until next time.....

Reading Love Unscripted part 2

I have no idea what I said the last time I posted about this book. So if I repeat myself, I'm sorry. I'm just going by what I remember. Anyways, we have our leading lady Taryn who has been through a lot in her little old life. She owns a pub and is the only survivor of her family. Thats kind of sad to be honest. Well, she still has her uncle, but I get the feeling that they aren't that close. But her life is turned upside down the moment a famous movie star enters town to shoot a movie. It gets even more turned upside down when he runs in her pub looking for cover from screaming fans. Little did she know that it was going to be a start of a beautiful relationship. Well, so far its been pretty easy for them. We all know that things are going to get crazy when someone leaks about their secret relationship. Then some hearts are going to be broken and miserable until someone realizes that they love the other too much to live with out them and fights to get them back. Typical love story, but I like this one because its kind of familiar to me in a sense. Probably I may or may not be going through the same thing with a certain guy from a certain band. If only I could read him better. Men. Anyways, the book is really good and I can't wait to see what this book has to hold in the rest of the three fourths of the book. Also the books gets us girls hopes up because who doesn't want to date a movie star or some other famous person. I'm all for dating Liam Hemsworth as a fantasy. He has such pretty eyes. So until next time.....

Reading Love Unscripted

Hey fellow bookworms, its your favorite slacker. At least I hope I'm your favorite. Anyways, I'm not slacking by choice. Apparently its frowned upon to read a book while on your way to visit your grandmother in the hospital. Honestly, what am I supposed to do for the hour and a half drive. There really isn't anything to talk about when we all either work, or stay home and help out. But you aren't here to read me complaining about my family. You are here to read about the latest book I'm reading. And honestly I'm not that far. I'm like three chapters in. So far, I like it. You just know the book is going to be full of dramatic moment. Along with some funny and heartbreaking ones. You also hope that is all you will get with how big the book is. I actually thought this book was going to be smaller the first time I got it to read. But we have our average leading lady who owns her own bar and has to suffer through her best friend gushing over the famous movie star shooting his movie in town. Of course wouldn't you know that our leading lady had a moment with said movie star. Now things are just starting to get interesting. Sorry I couldn't write more. So until next time.....

Started reading Love Unscripted by Tina Reber

Since I'm dragging my feet on Compromising Positions and I have been trying to get my hands on this book for what feels like forever, I thought I'd start reading Love Unscripted. It is also one of my bigger books, so its best to get it out of the way. I have no idea when this book came out or what it is about. Half of you probably already read this book, but I haven't, so I'm just going to blog about it anyways. Hopefully I'll get some reading done in my other book, but until I get to motivation to, this is the one I'll be reading. I'm sorry about that. I'm really trying to not have you guys hate me. So until next time........

Reading Compromising Positions by Jenna Bayley-Burke

I could of sworn that I had a post about this book already, but I must of been dreaming or something. Because there is no post what so ever on this book. Anyways, I started this book before When I'm Gone. So I apologize for mentioning this book while reading that one and confusing the hell out of everyone. I was pretty sure there was a post already. Even I can make major embarrassing mistakes on here. So the book so far is pretty good. I thought things were going to heat up pretty quickly because of the major make out scene in the leading lady's apartment. But sadly its has slowed down because our leading man 'doesn't want to betray his best friend's trust', and I just say he is feeling out of his element and is freaking out. Anyways, our two main characters has to do this class together where they show different sex positions. You can see how interesting that class is for them. Especially if the leading lady is using it to her advantage to bag the leading man. Very clever must I say. Also this book probably would want you to become a gym instructor if it was offering that kind of class. So until next time.......

Finished reading When I'm Gone

Sorry for the delay. I meant to post sooner, but my brother is hugging the charger for the computers. He has a little computer addiction. Anyways, I finished the book. I stayed up until four in the morning to finish it, which I didn't. I had to finish it last minute before I had to return it to the library. Anyways, I was starting to think that there was going to be no heartbreak in the book because it took so long to get to it. It was almost the end of the book and it only lasted two chapters. I guess that is what happens when you have a mother willing to travel over states just to talk some sense into the girl. My mom wouldn't do that for me, even when I hint to her that she should since I can't read the fricken guy. Anyways, I loved the book as always and I already requested the next book When You're Back from the library. Not sure when it will be back, but I can't wait to read it. I'm still waiting for the day where Nan finally finds someone that makes her less bitter. I still hate her. But hopefully Abbi won't leave that character forever alone. She is too nice for that. But go read the book if you haven't already. If you haven't even read the series, go start that like right now. But I'm going to head out. My brother is breathing down my back for the computer charger so he can play World of Warcraft. So until next time.......

Halfway through When I'm Gone

So I'm about halfway through the book now and its pretty interesting. Right away you get introduced to Reese's challenges that will affect the storyline. Its pretty interesting reading about how Mase is trying to help her overcome her demons and problems. Of course, he doesn't know why at first. He just thinks its just a small attraction and lust. The boy is falling hard and fast. Just like every other one in the series. Anyways, Reese wants to give Mase everything she has, but her memories are currently holding her back. Kind of makes Mase hate her past just as much as she does. Kind of wonder how they are going to overcome it to be able to have the relationship both of them want. So until next time......

Started reading When I'm Gone by Abbi Glines

I was reading Compromising Positions, but me being the idiot that I am, I miss placed it. Give me a round of applause. Anyways, good thing I have stacks of books to read and why not pick up an Abbi Glines book that I just picked up from the library. I am sure everyone has read this book by now since the next one just came out a few weeks ago. I'm a little behind, so bare with me. But I'm going to head out. Just thought I would let you know what I was reading, even if I haven't actually started the book yet. So until next time......

Finished reading Primal Law

I only have one small chapter left in the book and it better not end the way I think its going to end. If it does, I'm going to be mad. They finally give into their needs, even though she waited until he was on his death bed, and then it all get ripped away. How dare you J.D. Tyler? Hopefully there is a miracle somewhere in this last chapter or later in the series because I'm very upset right now. I was really enjoying the new couple.  Anyways, the book was a little slow at first. It kind of grew on my like fungus. But its a good book and the author knew how to draw you in just enough to make you hate him in the end. Why do authors have the need to kill people? It is just not cool. But got check out the book. I liked it a lot and you might to as well. I just might also buy the next book in the series. But first I have to pay back my mom for helping me out with my new couch. So until next time.......

Reading Primal Law

Nothing like having a long day at work and no computer to get two thirds of the way through a book. Anyways, I'm enjoying the book so far. There are still somethings I'm trying to figure out but the more I read the more it makes sense. So the book starts out with our leading man Jax Law doing a sketchy mission with his men. I say sketchy because well something doesn't feel right to them. They should of ran when they first got the feeling because it was all actually an ambush set up by Jax's girlfriend. Yikes. Anyways, six months later we are introduced to Kira. She works for a company that is pulling off some fishy things. So she gather's some information at the risk of her life. Jax comes to the rescue and now she is stuck with him because she saw somethings she shouldn't have. Like the fact that Jax can turn into a wolf. So her life gets turned upside down as she begins her new life at the compound with Jax and his team. She also has a new job to work with the prisoners and also to work in the labs. Also Jax is in for a loop ever since Kira entered his life. Now if only they would swallow their pride and stop denying their attraction towards each other. Especially if they are meant to be together forever. So until next time.......

Started reading Primal Law by J.D. Tyler

I have no idea what this book is about. I just found it on my to-be-read list and ordered it online. But it looks interesting and the guy on the cover looks kind of hot. I know I'm terrible. Maybe this is a book I need to curl up on my new couch to read. Who knows. I really wish that this post was longer, but I have no idea what to say. I have never read any books by this author before, and I don't read the back of the books. I really should, but I don't. I am going into this book completely blind. Wish me luck. Until next time.....

Daimon by Jennifer L. Armentrout

So I did a quick read. Kind of have to to get all caught up on my reading. Anyways, the book is just an introduction into the series. That is pretty much all I know so far. I did finish the book since it was only like sixty pages. Our main character just tells us about her life for the past three years, then finds her mom dead one day, and now she is on the run. Trying to avoid those that are out to kill her. Yikes. But after reading this small book, I'm kind of curious how the series plays out. This book just raised some questions and gave very little answers. Looks like I'll be requesting the first official book of the series when I can. So until next time....

Stopped reading The Devil Laughed

Okay, I stopped reading The Devil Laughed for a couple of reasons. The main one is that I simply misplaced the book. I'm hoping that I didn't forget it at work, but its most likely laying around the house somewhere. I'm pretty sure my brother wanted to be the little devil that he is and hid the book. I wouldn't put it past him. Also I'm running behind on reading once again. Usually happens when I read mysteries. I take my time, taking in every detail, and I finish the book in like three months. Sadly I just don't have time for that. So I had to pick up some other books that should be pretty quick. Also I am finally getting Abbi Glines' book When I'm Gone from the library. It took like forever to get that book. I really hate my book budget. So until next time.....

I'm still alive!

Hey guys. Sorry for not writing or posting anything. I've been sick for the past few days. I didn't even get to read I was so sick. But fortunately I am getting better. No if only I can breath through my sore nose. But I'll get back to reading as soon as I can. Most likely when I go back to work. So look for posts on The Devil Laughed. I have also may have read a few pages of Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll. Not enough to post about it yet, but I did get a few pages in. But I'm going to head out. I need all the sleep I can get before I have to go back to a normal life of work. If only I can finish the book I've been writing. So until next time......

Happy 1st birthday to my blog

Its amazing that I've had this up for a year already. It was just something I discussed with my mom about starting. I didn't think that I would keep it up for a year. But I'd like to thank all those that took the time to read my blog or even just skimmed through it. I have accomplished so much already and I hope to only continue reading books with all of you. I look forward to another year of more books from new and old authors. Also I look forward to your requests on what I should read. But for not I'm going to head out and get a little farther in The Devil Laughed. Thank you again for taking the time out of your busy day to check this blog out. You have no idea how much it means to me. So until next time.......

Finished reading Born of Defiance

I honestly finished this book yesterday, but due to it being a holiday, I got nothing done. Anyways, a lot happened in the book, to the point I have no idea what to tell you. I can say that Fain never shows his face in the book, sadly. But the book takes place at the same time the first book in the series happens. Took me a while to figure it out, but that puts all the fun into the book. It also what interesting to see all that was happening else where while the first book told a different prespective. Kind of makes me curious on how Born of Betrayal is going to play out. I am so excited for that book that I have it already requested for the library. Anyways, back to the book. Talyn's life gets more complicated when he admits his feelings for Felicia and shows her that he is Starlen. Also the royal house is complete jerks and do a lot of thing that make a lot of people mad. All hell breaks loose in the book that you just have to read to believe and experience. It practically had me refusing to put the book down because it was so intense. Luckly not a lot of crying scenes. Thank you for that Sherrilyn. Anyways, I love the book just as much as the others. Hopefully I'll be able to by it sometime this month or next. Depends on what library is ready to get rid of their books. Probably won't be until next year knowing my luck. But I'm going to head out. So until next time.......

Reading Born of Defiance

So, I'm about halfway through Born of Defiance and I now know how it ties into the rest of the series. I also know why this was released before Born of Betrayal. I'm not going to tell you why, because that would ruin the whole surprise and I hate spoilers. I'm just wondering when Felicia find out who Talyn's father is. Also I want to know if and when his father shows his face in the story. Wouldn't that be exciting to read about? Talyn seeing his father for the first time ever that didn't include pictures. I believe I just got even more excited to continue this book. So far I really like it and I'm trying to breeze through it, but I have family members that always want something the moment I pick up the book to read it. Also I just got my favorite video game in the mail, I'm a huge Devil May Cry fan, and I have the urge to play the story out since I have every single one that was released. Or that I could find at least. I hear there was another Devil May Cry game released, but I don't know what its called or where to find it. But back to the book because I'm rambling. Judging by how slow it is today, I'll probably get most of the book done tonight. If not, tomorrow for sure. With that I'm heading out to read some more. So until next time........

Started reading Born of Defiance by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Okay, so I was going to finish The Devil Laughed, but then I remembered that I have a library book that I needed to read before I had to return it. So here it is. I'm still trying to figure out on how it ties into the rest of the series, but I'm still pretty excited to read this book. I love the League series and I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's books. She is honestly one of my most favorite writers out there. Anyways, so far I have been introduce to the two main characters of the book, Talyn and Felicia. They both have fathers who aren't in the picture, and are both down graded because of it. Right now I'm only halfway through chapter two and its a very long chapter. I'm already breezing through this book, which is expected because it only takes me like three days to read Sherrilyn's books. But I'm going to head out and read some more before I tell you all that is going on. So until next time......
