Almost done reading Beautiful Sacrifice

So I won't finish the book until I'm alone in my room, because there is going to be some ugly tears coming from me. I say this because a break up scene is about to play out and I take those to heart. Like I said before, I get really into these books. Anyways, Falyn was the idiot and cut the cord of Taylor. Well she says that they needed a break so he could really think about his future. Well, he just so happens to mess up during his small time line of a week and ends up sleeping with some random woman at the bar while visiting his brother. Maddoxes are known to do the drastic things while trying to forget about the girl that stole their heart, only to learn that it never works because they still feel lost. Anyways, Taylor gets drunk once again and tells Falyn everything. I give him props for it but also kind of want to smack him for it. But now the road is a little bumpy and hopefully they will work it out. Sadly we all know that its not going to happen. So before I begin bawling in the middle of work, I'm putting the book aside. I don't need people to see me tear up because the series tends to rip my heart of my chest, rips it into pieces, stomps on it, and then puts it back together later on in the book. But that is what makes a good book. Right? You need to have all the feels in order to agree that the book is worth every star that it gets. But I'll probably won't post again about the book, sadly. I have like two or three chapters left and its going to be brutal. But read the book and all the others. I highly recommend it. So until next time......

Finally halfway through Beautiful Sacrifice

In all honesty, I'm way farther then halfway. Goodreads just likes to lie to me from time to time. Anyways, Taylor is finally getting under Falyn's skin. He is also implying to start a serious relationship. Not sure how she would react to that, but if I were her, I'd be all over that boy. Just saying. Sadly not much has happened since I last posted, but I thought I would make something small. The next post will be when I finish the book, which will hopefully be today. Its supposed to be a slow day, meaning I should get a lot of reading done. Right now Falyn and Taylor are on their way to Illinois and they did the little experiment of kissing. Sure why not, since Tyler got his fill of the girl. Luckly Taylor just blew her out of the water which most likely scared the poor girl because she has no idea what she is feeling. Way to go Taylor, do it the Maddox way. I'm just kidding. I love these books and I tend to get a little too into them. So until next time......

Reading Beautiful Sacrifice part 2

Taylor is ruthless. Falyn doesn't stand a chance with this guy. But apparently she is trying to get to the same town Taylor is from. I'm not sure why, but she apparently has to get there. Even if she has to stand Taylor's charm the whole way there. But this book just gets more interesting by the minute. Loving it so far. Anyways I'm about halfway through the book. I know I should be farther along, but I'm not. I keep getting distracted because I suck. Right now I'm kind of curious on how this book is going to wrap up into the others. They all do in some way or form. Also I want to know Falyn's secret. What is this girl holding back? It drives me nuts. But I'm going to head out right now because I have reading to do and I have nothing else to say. Boo. So until next time.......

Final thoughts Faking Perfect and back to reading Beautiful Sacrifice

So I'm officially don't with Faking Perfect. I'm so glad that Lexi got the slap in the face she needed. I didn't like Ben anyways. But Lexi finally visited her father after so many years and it went pretty well. Also I found out that my theory was correct in a way. So I was wrong and I was right at the same time. That doesn't happen a lot. But I liked the book and it made me smile occasionally. The book just had all of the situations that just made you want to read to see what happened and if some people would get the wake up calls they needed. Also you wanted to know if Lexi and Tyler finally end up together, which everyone knows that they do. But get the book when it comes out if you don't already have it preordered or whatever. I know sometimes some companies release the book ahead of scheduled. But either way read the book.

But with Faking Perfect out of the way, I can finally finish up Beautiful Sacrifice. I still can't get past how much I'm loving Taylor at the moment. He is awesome and I want a guy like a Maddox brother. If you read the books, you'll know why. I love the books so far and Jamie hasn't disappointed me yet. Also I'm still super happy that I finally have a book signed by her. But I'm going to read the book and hopefully wrap it up by tomorrow. I'm just dying to see how this romance is going to play out. So until next time.......

Almost done reading Faking Perfect

So I'm not sure where I left off on this book but a lot has happened in the few pages I have read. Okay I may be almost done with it but who is focusing on the details. Anyways, Lexi's mom gets a new boyfriend and Lexi doesn't like him. She has every right to be. You end up hating him too when you read the book. Anyways, things get complicated for Lexi. She fights nonstop with Tyler because you know he wants more, but is too stubborn and too proud to say anything. Then Lexi ends up dating her long time crush, Ben. You end up hating that guy too. But everything blows up in Lexi's face, but she feels a little better because she is no longer pretending. Of course something happens between Lexi and her mom's boyfriend to the point that Lexi has decided to leave. I know that at this point I say about time. Also I have come to realize that I didn't mention a detail in this book. Lexi got a hold of her dad. So I was a little wrong with my theory, as always, but I'm glad that she is trying to fix things with her dad. Thats where I left off and this is most likely my last post. If something big happens then I'll let you ASAP. So until next time......

Reading Faking Perfect part 2

I have less then six days to finish this book and I'm not even halfway. I'm not even a third. That must make me a horrible person. Anyways, the book just got interesting. I told you someone always gets attached in a no strings attached relationship. I'm just surprised on who it actually was that admitted it. Of course Tyler is a little drunk when he admits that and then tries to play it off as if he was only joking. But the damage was done. She is now ready to cut all ties and move on. But he on the other hand wants to seduce her into holding on just a little longer. I am guessing she is going to fall in love with him somewhere down the road as well. Now it all depends on when and how Tyler is going to win her over. So until next time.....

Reading Faking Perfect

I hate afternoon shifts at work. I don't get any reading done. Anyways while things are slow, I thought I'd squeeze in a small post about the book. First things first, there is something fishy going on with our main character, Lexi's mom. I'm not sure what it is yet but something isn't adding up. And it has to do with Lexi's dad. I'm thinking that there is more to the stories that her mother is telling her. I could be wrong, but its a gut feeling I got. Its like I have a feeling her mom is just lying to her. Who knows? I could be wrong for all we know. Anyways, the book is okay right now. I'm only a few chapters in and its too early to say what I think so far. But I'm going to head out and hope to read a little bit more before it gets crazy again. Or, before I have to go home. I never get anything done there. So until next time.......

Started reading Faking Perfect by Rebecca Phillips

All books are on hold at this time because I got an advance copy in the mail today. It isn't really advanced since the book comes out on June 30. That gives me eight days to tell you what I think about the book before it comes out. I honestly don't think I can do it, but I'm going to try. Anyways I just started the book. I'm only about three chapters in and they are pretty short. All we know is that out lead character is secretly sleeping with the school's bad boy. She is keeping it a secret because she has an image that she made for herself that she has to keep in tact. I find it kind of lame, but I guess that is how the character thinks she is going to survive and get out of the life she is in. But I have a feeling on where this story is going to go. Everybody knows that you can't just sleep with someone without someone forming feelings for the other. It could be the guy she is sleeping with, or it could be her. Maybe both. I guess I'll just have to read to find out. So until next time......

Reading Beautiful Sacrifice

I fell in love with this book the moment Taylor first came in. I don't know why. Probably has to do that he is a Maddox. I don't know, but I love the guy. It also could be the fact that Taylor reminds me so much of Travis. Thank you for that Jamie. I missed reading Beautiful Disaster because of Travis's personality. Anyways our leading lady, who's name I can't remember how to spell at the moment, is playing really hard to get because she knows that Taylor is bad news. Sadly when a Maddox is put up to a challenge they take it on. So our leading lady gets suckered into a date and she is pretty much done for. I can tell you that right now and she hasn't even gone on her date with Taylor yet. But I'm going to head out. I haven't been reading much and I'm sorry about that. I recently got with the times and got an Xbox. So I've been playing with that more then anything, but I'm stuck in one of my games and I don't want to play it again. I might just started the whole thing over. Anyways, I'll post again one day. Hopefully soon. So until next time.....

Started reading Beautiful Sacrifice by Jamie McGuire

Nothing like feeding my Maddox Brother obsession by reading the third...ish fourth...ish book in the series. I guess it all depends on how you look at it. Anyways, I'm super excited to read the book. I know half of you have read the book already, but I was on vacation and I just got it. I know I have been home for a few days but I had a lot of mail to go through. I think I might of lost some of it as well. Anyways I am going to dive right into this book and see where it takes me. All I have to say is that its about time to we get to the twins. Also its going to be sad when the series is over. What will I do with no more Maddox Brothers books? I love those guys. So until next time.....

Taking a break from The Devil Laughed

I still think the uncle did it. Anyways, I have to take a break from the book. Why? Because it is taking me too damn long to read the book. I can at least say that I have made it halfway through the book now. Also another reason why I'm not reading the book much is because I'm too easily distracted by the new toys that the fam is now getting. Like new computer games and also we finally have a game system that works. Thank the Lord for my mother giving in on that one. Now if only I had a brother throwing a fit because he has to share. Kids these days. Anyways, not much has happened in the book besides we have feuding families on our hands. One is accusing the other of stealing, while the other family is calling the first family total liars. I don't care what their problems are, I just want to know if I'm right. The uncle has motive to kill his own damn sister. But I'm going to head out. So until next time......

Reading The Devil Laughed

Hey guys sorry again for not writing. Family vacation was a lot of fun and now I'm trying to get used to my own time zone. Sadly my body refuses to leave the East Coast because I'm still running on that time zone. Anyways, I'm about a third of the way through the book. I'm still not sure what the book is supposed to be about, but I'm learning along the way. Our main character who is telling the story is named Moriah Dru. She is a private investigator to find missing children, mainly. But due to the resurfacing of a cold case she takes on a new client that is more then a handful. Probably has to do with the fact that the new client is twelve and is in search of answers about her mother. In all honesty I think the uncle did it hands down. The whole case is pretty big and the story on what happened is pretty long. If you want to know about the missing mother and sunk boat more, read the book because if I tell you everything, you just might not read the book. Anyways, I think someone is after Dru because she is sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. Makes the book even more interesting. But I'm going to continue reading and hopefully finish the book by the end of the week. Especially when I have Beautiful Sacrifice calling my name. I'm so happy to finally get my hands on that book.

Started reading The Devil Laughed by Gerrie Ferris Finger

Hey guys. Sorry for not writing for a while. I'm on the East Coast and I've been having too much fun to read. Sadly I'll be heading home in a few days and I don't want to read. Anyways, I started a new book....finally. Not sure what it is about because I never read what a book is about these days. I just read it. Anyways, so far the book is just introducing things to us and what not. So nothing fascinating or interesting. But I'm going to head out for right now. I have family looking at me with disapproving looks. I'm supposed to be spending time with them. So until next time.....

Finished reading Sour Lake

Is it bad that I'm actually glad this book is over? I'm not saying that because its a bad book. I mean after a point, I couldn't put it down. But it was a little too graphic for my taste. Like the author almost goes into complete detail with each death in the book. Kind of makes me want to put the book down and say 'nope, I can't do this. Screw it.', but I don't. I stuck through it just for you guys. Anyways, there are a lot of deaths towards the end. There is something going on in this small little town and you die if you talk about it or know about it. The ending is pretty intense because they have to try to defeat this thing. And, let me tell you that it is nearly indestructible. So honestly I'm not really done with the book. I don't even know how they defeat the monster, but I'm willing to find out. Either way, go check out the book but only if you don't have a vivid imagination like I do. The book gets pretty graphic and crazy. So until next time.....
