Technical difficulties.

Due to some issues with my computer I won't be able to post for a while. I have to hand it in to get fixed because the device has decided to not save any of my notes or writing projects. This also leaves a very annoyed Lyssa. So before I throw the device across the room, I'm going to have a friend replace the hard drive. So until then, I will not be posting. Don't panic though. I'll still be reading and I'll be writing down my posts in a notebook. That way, when I get my computer back I can do all the posts on all the books I read in my absence. I just thought I'd let everyone know and not have you all think that I gave up on this whole blogging thing. So until next time.....

A third of a way towards the end (The Fiery Heart)

Okay so I'm still not sure what the big adventure for this book is. I think it has to do with the fact that Sydney has to toggle her magic casting around the fact that her sister is watching her every move. Also throw in a secret relationship in the mix that is completely forbidden. Poor Sydney. Did I also forget to mention that she also has to testify for her parents during their custody hearing that is part of their divorce. Its like our girl just can't get a break. But I have to head out for right now. My mom keeps talking to me and I'm about to type what she is saying. So until next time.....

Started a new ebook: Angel After Dark by Kahlen Aymes

Before I talk about his book, I want to share some final thoughts for Alyssa's Redemption. So it didn't end the way I thought, I guess that is what happens when the book is actually in parts. Anyways, all I have to say about that book is that the ex is a complete dick. I really hate him and hope he gets the wake up call he needs. But anyways, that book is done and I'm off to start a new one. The benefits of sleepless nights. One day I'll be able to sleep for the whole entire night. Anyways, this is a book I got for free. Once again I know nothing about the book and I literally just started reading it. I'm on like page two trying to figure out what is going on. Maybe I should start the habit of reading what the book is about before I read it. So until next time...

There might be another post after this one, but I'm not making any promises. Anyways, things get a little interesting, but that is because the ex comes around to start fights and what not. The guy is pretty crazy honestly. Anyways, I can see how this book ends. She'll end up with the ex's brother and be completely self conscious about the whole entire thing. And the ex will continue to cause problems and make her life a continuous living hell. The end and that would be the whole story. But that is just what I'm predicting. For all I know there could be a huge plot twist that would make me go "holy hey, I did not see that coming", but I haven't gotten that moment yet. But I'm going to head out. So far the book only deserves three and a half stars. Maybe four, because I'm nice. So until next time....

Reading Alyssa's Redemption

Can I point out how weird it is to read a book that shares my name? And this is why I go by my nickname mostly. Either way, its weird. Its like I'm reading a book about me in an alternate universe. Anyways, not much has happened and I'm almost halfway through the book. You find out what happened with our leading lady when she tells the story to her ex's brother. She is a little shock with his reaction afterwards because so far no one had believed her until she told Cameron. But something interesting better happen or I'm going to be disappointed. Started another Ebook: Alyssa's Redemption by Karly Morgan

Okay before I start talking about this book, I'd like to let you know that I am still reading all of my other books. I'm trying to play catch up right now and ebooks seems to be the way to go. Not sure why, but I tend to read faster. Probably because some of them are short. Anyways, I'd also like to share my final thoughts of Addicted to You. Major plot twist towards the end. You suspect that they are brothers, but I'm not revealing anymore then that. But I would so like to read the next book if I can get it through the library or for free. Anyways, lets get talking about this book. One, I got it for free. Not sure if it still is free, but it also means that I didn't read anything about this book. So far I've read two chapters about a girl who has to struggle after breaking up with her boyfriend. She just found out that her ex's brother now owns the bar she works at. And that is about it. I like to read books and write post as I read. I kind of want to give the sense that you are reading the book with me and that we are discussing the book together. Also I suck at remembering thing and talking about the technical things. But I'm going to head out for right now. I have clothes I need to hunt down because they like to grow legs and walk away. Almost done with Addicted to You

This is most likely the last post I do on this book. Like I said last time, I am pretty much going to finish the book today. Anyways, our favorite rich couple are now officially together. Now things get a little more interesting. Our sex addict keeps running into guys that she slept with and other people that know her reputation. Also the fact that our alcoholic is starting to get noticed and go back to his old ways. Yikes. But now as punishment, they keep each others addictions away to push limits. I'm just waiting for the disaster that is destined to happen in this book. So until next time.....

Reading Addicted to You

Okay, so I'm about a third of the way through this book and so far its pretty good. The story goes that we have two rich kids pretending to be in a relationship. They each have a secret that the other helps to hide. One is an alcoholic while the other is a sex addict. But their addictions didn't start until after they slept with each other for the first and only time. I believe there is a little more behind their addictions and the reasons for them. Also as I read more of the book, I begin to think that these two actually love each other, but just won't admit it. Kind of makes me want to jump into the book and yell at them to just give it a go and see where it ends up. Sadly the characters only think that they aren't good enough for the other, or that actually being together will ruin everything. I will most likely finish this book by tomorrow at this rate. Don't panic, I'm still reading

Its a little hard to post when I'm reading three books at once. Also I've been visiting my grans at the nursing home a lot. But I am still reading, and I'll try to get at least halfway through one of the books by the end of the week. So have faith in me and thanks for understanding. So until next time.....

Reading three books like a boss.

Okay, so I'm reading three books at once. Is any of them Sign? Of course not. But I did find it. So that's a good thing. Anyways, lets get talking about the book that I am reading.

First up is The Fiery Heart. I still don't know what the big challenge is going to be in this book, but its probably going to be something huge, like always. But the book is told in two different point of views, Adrien's and Sydney's. Its a little different then what I'm used to when it comes with this author, but different is good. Anyways, Sydney's parents are getting a divorce and a huge custody battle is going to go down, so that is going to make the book a little interesting. Also Sydney thinks she can make the ink that Marcus was talking about in the last book. All thanks to a very old witch. That is basically all I know for right now.

Next up is The Darkest Lie by Gena Showalter. I'm a little behind on this series and this is book six. I honestly don't remember what the series is called, but I do remember that it follows all of these immortals that are possessed by demons from Pandora's box. This book basically revolves around Gideon who is the host of Lies. So basically unless he wants to be curled up on the floor in pain, he has to constantly lie. So you pretty much have to think the opposite every time he talks. Anyways he gets a blast from the past. Only problem is the fact that he can't remember. Wonder how he is going to figure this out.

And, last but not least Addicted To You by Krista and Becca Ritchie. This is one of those free ebooks that I never read up on to know what they are about. I just jump right in and try to figure out the story as I read. So far out of the five percent that I have read, we follow two rich kids in college. They have to pretend to be dating in order to make their parents think that they are perfect. Even though that is as far from the truth. One seems to be a sex addict while the other tends to drink too much. So I wonder how this story is going to play out.

So those are the books that I'm reading. But I'm going to head out now and tend to the new tattoo that I got last Friday. Its pretty cool and based off the best Tim Burton movie ever made. Also it just so happens to be my favorite movie where I can joke around and say its my life. But its not like you guys care. So until next time.....

Started reading The Fiery Heart

No I didn't finish Sign. Yes, I will finish the book and tell you my final thoughts. I just happen to have misplaced the book.....again. I really need to be more responsible of my books. Anyways, I picked up my books at the library today. So everyone say 'Hi' to the next Bloodlines book. A little spoiler right here, Adrien and Sydney are now together, but they have to keep it on the down low because Sydney's sister was sent in to watch her. Kind of makes me wonder what the next adventure will be in the series. First we had a secret conspiracy and illegal blood trafficking. Then we had to fight off some Warriors of the sun. Also throw in an evil witch in there. What else could there be. So excited. Anyways, I'm going to head out. I haven't been feeling the greatest since I messed up my knee. I'm going to go lay down and hopefully read a little bit of the book. So until next time.....

What the hell am I reading?! (Sign)

I'm at that point in the book where I want to read it and not read it at the same time. This book is so crazy. I have to stop every once and while just to have my mind wrap around what had just happened. Don't get me wrong the book is good, but you get so pulled in that you get just as freaked out as the characters. Right now our main character's wife just disappeared right in front of him. But I have a theory on what is going on. I believe that the guy died some way or another, and he is actually in hell. Only because your own mind can be your own hell or something like that. The other thing could be that the guy is just going crazy. Anyways, I want to finish this book, have my mom read it, and I don't know what after that. But go get the book if you are getting sick and tired of me taking to damn long to read the book. I highly recommend it and I'm not even done with it yet. So until next time....

Officially back to reading Sign

Before I talk about anything, I want to share some final thoughts on Rapture. I will say that when it got to the end, I did not want to put the book down. Also it didn't end the way I expected, so kudos on that. But go check out the series. I know I didn't cover much because I didn't really remember all of that had happened, but I tried my best. So read what you missed and tell me what you thought of the series.

But I'm now officially reading Sign until I get my next shipment at the library. Its just two books, but I'm still waiting. Anyways, I'm thinking about writing a proposal on turning this book into a game. I for sure won't be making the game, but maybe the author will like the idea and find someone to do it. I think it would be a really cool game to play. But I'm going to head out for now and get back to reading this crazy book. So until next time.......

Three fourths through Rapture

Its kind of like that moment right before something huge happens. Sure the book keeps you on the edge of your seat, but I've been spending three chapters of them in a cave, digging through boulders. Now there is preperations taking hold. I know its like the calm before the storm. So I'm kind of silently screaming at the book saying to get on with it already. I want to be done with this book because I want to know what happens. All the hell that our starcrossed lovers have gone through. All of the loss they have experienced. Now I'm just sitting here twittling my thumbs. I can't take it anymore. But I'm going to wrap up the book here, or at least my posts. If you want answers for what happened, read the series. Its pretty good, just a little slow in the beginning. But I'm going to finish this book and then read Sign while I wait for the next set of books to come to the library. So until next time....

Halfway through the book

Okay I would of updated sooner, but due to a fight between me and my brother, the computer was taken away. So sad that I'm pretty much an adult and I get stuff taken away like I'm five. I guess that is what happens when I keep putting the move off due to Grans' condition. Anyways, back to the book. They got two relics now. Only one more to go and no idea where to go or what to do. The last group of angels have gone missing due to the Scale, baddies of heaven who think they are all that. So our couple decides that they are just going to gather the last relic and then save the remaining angels. Smart choice. Or is it? But I thought I'd mention that before I finish the book. Lets just hope that my brother doesn't pick a fight with me again. Kid has no respect for elders. So until next time....

Still reading Rapture

Okay, so I'm a third through the book now. I still think I was way farther than that but I guess even I can be wrong sometimes. Anyways, I'm only reading at night only because we pretty much have a house full. Gramps is throwing a fit because of it, but what do you expect from a family like ours? So things are slightly dragging on. Apparently our characters are collecting these old artifacts in order to stop the end of days. The so far have recovered one and have two left to get. Sadly there is a force against them trying to prevent them from recovering the remaining two. This force ended up capturing three of our main characters in the series and gotten hold of the relic. It would be too easy if they were able to get it before the bad guys showed up. Hopefully the other relic is recovered before its too late. So until next time.....

Reading Rapture by Lauren Kate

I could of sworn that I was farther in this book, not only sixty pages in. Oh well. Anyways Indigo Spell ended pretty intense. Nothing like a fight between witches to keep you on the edge of your seat. Crazy business. Also there might be a possibility that Adrien and Sydney finally get together. Anyways, it was a little slow in the end, but still a good book. Now I'm off to finally finish the Fallen Series. I have no idea when the last time it was when I last read the books. I know it was way back when I started my failed website. So its been a while. The series basically revolves around this couple that are destined to never be together. Its like that whenever they finally admit their feelings the girl dies or spontaneously combusts. So this is an on going cycle until the girl is born into a family that isn't all that religious. So they don't do some things that end up breaking the never ending cycle. But our couple still have some things to fight through. Now that the girl can't be born again ever, things are coming after her in order to turn the guy towards their cause. I guess I forgot to mention that the guy is a fallen angel because he fell in love with the girl. Anyways, in order to get answers on why they were cursed in the first place, the girl goes back in time. This results in the guy chasing after her. Now that she got some of her answers, it still doesn't solve their problem. Some bad guy is determined from ending the curse from existence. That way the girl was never reborn in the first place. And that is sadly all I remember. Just read the series because it is actually pretty good. So until next time.....

Almost finished with Indigo Spell

This is most likely going to be my last post on this book. I have less then a hundred pages left for it anyways and this is pretty much where things getting really interesting. Am I going to tell you about any of it? No, because I want those who haven't read the book yet to read it. But I'll be requesting the next book as soon as I'm almost finished with Rapture. Anyways, right now in the book Sydney is on a mission to steal some information from the group she is a part of. Nothing like using the guy who has the hots for her to get what she wants. Wonder how he would react when he finds out that she was actually seeing a vampire behind everyone's back. Also we still have that witch problem. But I'm heading out because I have lots to do. I found Sign

Okay so I don't exactly remember everything that has happened in this Twilight Zone book. But I'm pretty sure I can give you a small recap on what I remember. Okay so a man and his wife go on vacation. They end up getting lost on their way to their destination. So then they come up to a gas station, completely deserted and no none around. While investigating, someone or something slashes their tires. So in investigating for a new way back to where they came from they find a running truck. They leave as soon as they see the word 'sign' panted on the back of the gas station. They drive for a few hours until they realize that someone is actually in the back of the truck under the tarp. A small explosion happens, leaving them to walk. They get tired and come up to a small building. They investigate and find a very disturbing stain glass window. And that is actually all I've read so far. The book is crazy and you are pretty much wanting to read it because you want to know what the hell is going on. I predict that they are just dreaming this whole situation. I don't know. But I think it would be pretty cool to see this book as a game actually. To actually experience what these characters are experiencing. I think that be really cool and I would so play it. But I'm going to head out. I have house work to do. So until next time....

Halfway through Indigo Spell

Honestly I don't remember what I've told you guys about the book so far. So I guess I'll just have to do it from the beginning. So here we go. Sydney goes to a wedding. Adrian makes a scene by asking her to dance with him. Sydney then does a spell to find Marcus. Typical school stuff then happens before Sydney goes looking for Marcus and does some witch hunting. Both don't end well. Marcus agrees to give answers if Sydney agrees to join his group. Sydney still does some witch hunting but only after Adrien's car gets vandalized. There is more that happened in the middle of the book, but I'm not going to tell you all of it. For those who haven't read it can't be told everything told in the book, also those who have read it already know what goes down. So whats the point in saying everything. Also I snuck a few pages of Sign in, because I'm nice like that. Yes, I have found the book. It was under a whole bunch of papers on my mother's desk. So until next time...
