Reading Born of Legend part 3

Hello Bookies,

I have no idea how many posts I'm going to make for this book. I think this is pretty much going to be the second to last one, to be honest. Sad I know. Anyways, our leading lady found our missing prince. It wasn't a place she would like to see him in and I can understand the whole nearly burning the entire place down. I would probably have done the same if I were in her shoes. Anyways, our leading lady returns Dagger home and after exploding a ship, they live happily ever after. But the book and drama aren't over yet. Our leading lady Ushara still has a family she has to deal with that is still highly against her marriage. Well until they realize what Dagger's actual bloodline is.
Now they are all bubbly happy and accepting. But when things seem to be fine a little threat from Dagger's past comes up, traumatizing a child that he considers his own. Luckily things calm down for a while but it doesn't put Dagger at ease. It just makes him more paranoid. And he has right to since all hell breaks lose when he is about to get some pretty good news from our leading lady. Poor guy just can't catch a break. Also it doesn't help that Dagger pretty much disappears on his brother-in-law during an attack. The hunt for Dagger begins once again. I'm pretty sure our leading lady isn't going to let him leave her sight after this one. Things are about to get really good.

So until next time......

Reading Born of Legend part 2

Hey there bookies,

Sorry for not posting in a while. Things got a little crazy due to writing and work. Also BAP keeps being distracting because they are just so cute. Especially Daehyun, that bias wrecker who wants to take Himchan's spot on my list. Anyways, that isn't the reason why you are here. You are here because I'm reading an awesome book. Sadly I don't remember much because I tend to read it late at night while at work. So forgive me if I get some things wrong or leave out some key points. To tell the truth, I don't remember what I have told you all already. Its been too long. I really need to stop doing that.

Anyways, the book is really good. Its so nice to read a book and just see it play out in your head as you read. Its like a movie playing out in your head with every little detail. None of that Hollywood altering the storyline to make good money. Anyways, if I miss telling you anything, feel free to let me know.

So the book is playing out great. Our leading man who is going by the alias Dagger, is living the dream. Slowly falling in love with a woman who's son he saved from slavers. Able to sleep without having to sleep with one eye open. Also he has someone there to hold him at night when he thinks that his life is all a dream. Sure she may have married them without letting him know. He had to find out through a new close friend that  he got married. Imagine the surprise he got from that. Now her family is trying to make him disappear and they do succeed. I left off with our leading lady searching for Dagger because he didn't come home like he was supposed to. Things were about to get serious when I had to close the book. Downside to reading while you are at work.

So until next time......

Reading Born of Legend

Hey there Bookies,

I'm slowly starting this book only because of the no books ban at home. Family can be so mean sometimes. Anyways, the book is all about Nykyrian's twin brother Jullien. It's quite fascinating to see how his life actually was that when we read about in the previous books. Also, the book plays into the last book that came out. But it seems that all these books have a slight theme to them, nothing is all that it seems. Jullien didn't grow up as the pampered prince that everyone thinks of him as. Nykyrian wasn't sent away by his mother like he had been led to believe. Someone else was a long lost prince. Another was pretending to be gay when he actually wasn't just because he was protecting his mother, or at least that is what I think it was. But the series has all of these elements to it and I guess that is why I love it so much. But back to the book that I have in my hands at the moment. The book starts off with Jullien, who goes by Dagger in the story, saving a little boy. He nearly dies but gets taken in by the little boy's mother and crew.  The majority of the first few chapters is him being on edge because there is this huge bounty on his head that his grandmother put out for him. Got to love family sometimes. But all in all, he joins their little crew to work for them only because our leading lady, Ushara, offered him a job so he could have food and a safe place to sleep. How nice of her. Sadly that is as far as I have gotten. This book has over seven hundred pages and I'm only on chapter three. Lets hope I can finish this book before it has to go back.

So until next time......

Started reading Born of Legend by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Hello Bookies,

The wait has paid off. I finally have my hands on the next book in the League series. There is nothing I love more then getting my hands on a Sherrilyn Kenyon book. Okay maybe there are a few things, but none of them are book related. But OMG she is so talented. Makes me want to be just like her. Sherrilyn pretty much has written multiple of my favorite series of all time. So its only fitting that my next book I should read is her one of her newest ones. Anyways, first impressions is that the book is thick. I swear they get thicker with the next book. But I've been able to finish a Sherrilyn Kenyon book in two days. Of course I didn't have the no book while at home rule at the time. And I didn't have a job that makes me sleep the majority of the day. But I'm still determined to see what treasures this book holds under its cover. But sadly I have to wrap up Infinite Sea before I can officially start this book. Well that is one way to motivate me to read faster.

So until next time........

Almost done reading Infinite Sea

Hey there Bookies,

Its coming to that time where the book comes to an end. Honestly I'm not a hundred percent sure why the title is The Infinite Sea when there is no water to begin with. Or at least I don't think there is. What I'm getting is that all of the characters are so overwhelmed with what is going on that they are in an infinite sea of emotions. Which is understandable because these characters have been through a lot. They've lost friends and family. They can't trust people anymore and there is no where safe from the enemy. You feel terrible for them and you keep reading because you want to know how they overcome all of this. Also how they destroy the enemy. Anyways, we still don't know the answer to the mystery on why the aliens what the planet. You get hints here and there, but you never find out. Too bad out alien friend was too out of it to actually explain what was going on. He was just a bunch of riddles and love sick confessions to actually make any sense. Either way, I hope our characters solve the end of the world. Defeat the enemy and live happily ever after. Also I hope no one else has to die, but I have a feeling that one of the main characters doesn't have much time to live. Unless he magically gets better, which is possible because he's done it before. I guess you guys just have to read and find out yourselves on how the book ends. Which I highly recommend. So far the series has been really good and I know its going to be a while until I can get my hands on the third and final book. But keep an eye out for it. I just might be able to convince my mom to hand over some money to buy it sooner.

So until next time.......

Reading the Infinite Sea

Hey there Bookies,

I'm about halfway through the book and things are pretty interesting. Our small group is on the run from the aliens that sent out death squads to kill them. But honestly they shouldn't have to do that because out little group is willing to kill each other for them. One even ends up killing someone. Sure it was by accident, but they still killed someone in their group. Anyways, our favorite alien traitor is barely alive. Not sure how its possible, but he might just die yet. Nothing like walking miles with sever burns, broken bones, and gunshot wounds to give you an infection that can kill. Only because he wanted to keep that promise. Honestly the guy is an idiot and should of waited until he healed. Sure he would have a harder time finding the person he made a promise to, but at least he wouldn't be sick in a bed dying. Sadly that is all I got for now. Not much happens in the book except fighting among each other and a little back story on each member of our little group. Kind of nice if you ask me.

So until next time......
