Started reading Dark Frost by Jennifer Estep

Hey there Bookies,

I have officially finished Rush Too Far and I am now on to my next book. Also, I'll be making a video on everything that I read during the month of October and all the books I plan to read in the next month. But you are here to read about my thoughts on the book I'm currently reading.

The book starts off right at the end of winter break. It's like the last day and everyone had an assignment to go to this museum and look at the artifacts from the time of their ancestors. But things don't stay calm for long. Not when there is an attack at the museum that pretty much the majority of the students are at. A group of Loki's followers, or more known as Reapers, show up and start killing everyone. Nothing like starting an epic battle just a few pages into the book. Kind of makes you wonder what the rest of the book is about. I'm only two chapters in and it's already getting good. I predict a quick read coming up.

So until next time.....

Let's Get Personal #7

Hey there Bookies,

I've been so into Kdramas that I completely forgot about Let's Get Personal Sundays. It's more like I got highly distracted by a Kdrama actor who may have just become my favorite. Sorry Kim WooBin, but Lee JoonGi stole my attention with his eyes. But that is all besides the point. Because it's not just Kdramas that had me distracted.

My favorite band AFI is coming out with a new album. I'm so excited. For the past week, they have been teasing and sending video clips with a piece of a new song that you have to tune in live to hear. So there is no cheating with them. I kind of love it, to be honest.

I honestly thought I had to wait another two years for AFI. So now I have to wait to see what gets released on the 28th of this month. And keep an eye out for tour dates. This is going to be the time that I finally get to see AFI live. Nothing is going to stop me. I nearly cried when I threw out my knee and couldn't go the last time. They were front row too. Sad face.

Sorry I couldn't talk about anything really personal. And against sorry for being so late. I'll try to do better next Sunday.

So until next time....

Reading Rush Too Far

Hey there Bookies,

Sorry for not posting in a while. I've been on a little bit of a Kdrama kick because I've discovered a hot new actor who is pretty much the same age as my second oldest cousin. Opps.

Anyways, for those who have read the first few books in the Rosemary Beach series such as Fallen Too Far, you will notice that this book plays into those books. This book is completely in Rush's point of view. So you find out what he was up to. What his thoughts were. And everything else. I kind of have a love-hate relationship with these kinds of books, though. I love them because you get the other point of view. The other side of the story. But I hate them because you aren't really learning anything new. Its all the same story line and I can't really tell you guys much about it because you probably already read it. I end up not telling you a whole lot and just saying go read the book yourself. But it is a good series and I'm hoping to be caught up with it by the end of the year. But go check out the series and all of the other books Abbi Glines has written. She is such a talented writer who is really nice. She deserves all the support she gets.

So until next time.

Started reading Rush Too Far by Abbi Glines

Hey there Bookies,

So I figured I'd give the book I'm reading a rest. Only because I have this little stack of books that I got from the library. Also, I know it won't take me long to read this book. I usually read really quick when I love a book. I guess I just can't put it down until I finish. But I love the series and I am hoping to read all of the books that it has to offer. Also, Abbi Glines seems to be a pretty talented author that hasn't disappointed me yet.

So until next time....

Upcoming reads

I got a new stack of books from the library and there are some interesting books that I've been waiting to read. So let's dive right into the list of books and wonder what book I'll be reading next when I finally get to finish the book I actually have.

First up, I have The Vampire's Bride which is the fourth book in the Atlantis series. It's been a while since I read the series. The books are pretty much all on their own and are just now starting to tie together. But I'm waiting when they do finally all tie together. Sorry, I can't tell you much. I need a little refresher before I can say more.

Next up, is Dark Frost by Jennifer Estep. This book is the third in the series and is about a girl that goes to school with a bunch of mythical descendants. She is completely different from them, but she only goes there because she has power. So there is nothing like being the girl who feels like she doesn't belong in a school full of super humans. Also having a family hunting you down to kill you because you were present when one fo their family members died seems to make things more interesting. Luckily she has her Spartan descendent crush to save her right in time. And just to get it out there. I picture him to be really hot. Too bad we won't know what he actually looks like until this series becomes a movie.

Next one is a book that is the second in a series. I'm not sure what the series is about yet, but we got a rich guy pursuing a young woman as usual. But I know the last book ended with her walking away because she couldn't handle the guy's baggage. I'm curious on how this book will turn out.

The last book is Rush Too Far by Abbi Glines. I'm pretty much reading this series out of order right now because I realized that I missed a few. So I'm doing catch up until I can get my hands on the other books that finish up the series. Which kind of makes me sad. I love this series and the author is a very nice lady who is someone worth looking up to.

That is about it for now because I have to get some sleep. I really wish that I didn't have to go to work a normal job. I just want to stay home and read all day and not have to worry about a thing. But I can't only dream.

So until next time........

Let's Get Personal #6

Does it count being on time for Let's Get Personal Sundays if it's past midnight? I'm only asking because I almost forgot again. Maybe I should get a calendar that lets me know what I have to get done and posted. Maybe it would stop me from dragging my feet on everything.

Anyways, I'm not sure what this week's topic will be. Nothing exciting ever happens. Just the occasional blow out due to my baby sister's emotional break downs due to her bipolar dissorder. Then we usually have old school grandparents stepping in and going against their own advice, who also don't believe in mental disorders, making things so much more worse than they have to be. Its stressful and not a good envoirnment for any of us. Especially me with my mental issues. But that story is for another time when I'm ready to publicly talk about it.

I guess I could talk about how I'm getting over my insecurities by finally making videos. My mom is even jumping in on the fun for Reaction Wednesdays. Its where we watch music videos of any genre within my guidelines that I have set up. Or, more like my mom had set up. So far we've done a few that I'm currently editing. Probably need to do one more before Wednesday. But if there is any video you want us to react to, just send me an email or post a comment.

Other videos that we are working on is Topic Tuesday where I talk about any topic or answer a question. Then there is Movie Friday where I watch trailers of movies or just talk about the latest movie I saw and what I thought about it. I'm also thinking about doing Q&A Thursday, where you can ask me pretty much anything and I'll answer a certain amount of questions on that day.

So what do you think Bookies? Does this all sound like a good idea? I'm trying to expand this website and not just focus on books. I might even do a video on my progress on reading at the end of the month. Just to remind everyone what I've read and thought about the book. Also talk about the books I plan to read for the next month. But I know I can only pull this all off if you guys help me.

So until next time......

Let's Get Personal #5

I totally forgot about Let's Get Personal Sunday. Why did no one remind me? I feel terrible. I know I missed last week, but that was because I had a valid excuse. My supposedly healthy dog died of cancer and we had no idea until one of his tumors ruptured and he was pretty much bleeding to death eternally. My poor baby boy. Still hurts to think about him. At least I still have my big boy RJ to comfort me when I suddenly break down crying.

Anyways, I wonder what I should talk about for this post. I know in my last post I complained about a certain BAP member. He's so cute. Anyways, let me think for a bit. Okay nothing is coming to mind. Dang it. I'm still having issues with writing and coming up with any ideas for anything.

Maybe I need to live a more exciting life. Which is kind of impossible because I'm poor. But I know there would be so much more to talk about if I was able to do stuff. This is where the living comfortablly comes into play as a dream. I just want a life style where money wasn't a problem. I'm pretty sure when I open the businesses we will be okay. Just have to get the funding for them.

But since I have nothing really important, I'm calling this Let's Get Personal post a bust. Maybe something exciting will happen by next Sunday. Fingers crossed. But if there is a subject you want to talk about, don't be afraid to let me know. I'll be more then happy to fulfil your request.

So until next time......

Started reading The Summer She Was Under Water by Jen Michalski

Hey Bookies,

Sorry for not finishing Gabriel's Redemption, but if you want to know what goes on with the book, go check it out. I didn't like it and I know it was going to take me forever to read. I just don't have the time to ponder over a book that I'm going to hate reading anyways. Sure the book ha some good points, but I feel like that the Gabriel's Inferno series is one of those that you either love or you hate. There is no in between.

Anyways, my next read is a book I won in a giveaway on Goodreads. The book came in the mail like last month and since I'm waiting for my next set of books from the library. I figured that I should read the book and find out what it is about. Yes, I entered another contest with out knowing what the book was about. I totally judged the book by its cover this time around. It looked so artistic that I had to read it. I'll let you guys know what I think once I know more about the book. But I think its time I crack this thing open.

So until next time....

Reading Gabriel's Redemption

Hello Bookies,

I'm just going to flat out say it. I hate this book. It took me forever to read the first two, so I don't know why I have to torture myself with this one. Don't get me wrong, the books are good. I just hate them. I think it has to do with the way the author maid the main characters. There is something about a whiney dependent main female character that really drives me insane. Especially when you throw in a short tempered controlling lead male. To me, it feels really over used and I think it's time where we have a wimpy weak nerdy guy that is dependent on a strong willed woman. I'm sure there are books like that out there, I just haven't found it yet. Either way. I'm not going to promise that I'm actually going to finish this book. I might actually return it today because I just can't do it. This is a book I would go to if I needed some material for a good nap. But I'm sure you guys would love this series. Don't have my words lead you away from one of your potential favorite books. I'm just not into this kind of book really. I need more action and less complaining. But you guys give the book a shot. Go read it and see if you like it or not. Maybe this is your cup of tea and want to dream about having a strong influential man to satisfy your deepest desires.

So until next time....

Started reading Gabriel's Redemption by Sylvia Reynard

Hey there Bookies,

My first impression of this book is that I remember absolutely nothing from the last book. Except that they were found out and blah blah blah. Anyways, the main characters start of as being married. I don't even remember Gabriel proposing to Julia. I was pretty confused at first. But I got past my confusion because I need time to analyze what I'm reading. Like the fact that Gabriel wants to have children. Which makes Julia panic. Only because she wants to finish school first, but maybe it's best that she doesn't end up as a Dante expert like Gabriel. She is only in it because of him anyways. Anyways, I know it is going to talk me forever to read this book. It always does when it comes to this series. Only because there are moments that I want to slap the leading lady for being such a dependent whiner. Like right now. I want to jump into the book and yell at her saying that Gabriel just wanted to let you know that he was thinking about having kids. There is no need to panic over it. Also instead of have an inner battle with herself, she should talk to Gabriel about it. He is her husband after all. I'm sorry Sylvain Reynard, but your book is already annoying the hell out of me.

So until next time.....

Almost done reading Savage Awakening

Hey there Bookies,

I'm making good time in catching up on my reading. I'm nearly done with the book already and you know what that means. This is the last post for the book. I'm not going to tell you the ending because that would make it too easy. Also, I want you dying to know whether or not Aric finally caves and tells Rowan everything. I'm at the point in the book where he is having a tough time doing normal things. The guy is about ready to collapse and is still going against everyone's wishes. Also, I'm kind of wondering when Rowan will decide that her life back home is nothing compared to the world her brother is a part of.  Who wants normal anyways? Give me a life that keeps me on my toes all day long any day. Really hope that Rowan thinks so soon because I'm starting to like Aric. But go read the book and the first one if you haven't. Both books have a pretty good story line and so does the whole entire series. The next book is something I will have to request the moment I get the chance. I wonder who is going to be next. My money is on our panther-shifter Kalen. Only because is titled Black Moon or something like that.

So until next time......

Reading Savage Awakening part 2

Hello Bookies,

I'm halfway through the book. And, I have to say that things are getting interesting. I'm also really surprised on how fast I caught up on reading this book after a weekend of not reading. That just says on how good the book is getting. Anyways, our leading lady Rowan is going through a lot. With her little brother rescued and healing, she has her hands full with her concern for Aric as well. With her pull towards him undeniable, things get a little steamy when she discovers she shares the same gift as her brother. Nothing like using your gift to have a sexy moment with the guy while you sleep and then finding out to have it be as close to being real with all the effects in play. But our leading man Aric is in a bit of denial when it comes to having a mate. Also he is doing the stupid noble thing and not telling his mate that she is actually his mate. The guy is willing to die instead of telling her what is all going on. I agree with everyone in the book and think that he should just tell her and let her come to terms on her own. Just like in the first book with Jax. Of course Aric's death might come sooner then later if he keeps throwing himself in front of Rowan to protect her from attacking bat like demons. This next half is going to be interesting.

So until next time....

Updates.....ish

Hey there Bookies,

Sorry for not posting or writing in a while. Also sorry for the mistake I made about the series. The first book was about Jax and finding his mate. Not the pack leader. For some reason I thought Jax was the leader, but I was wrong. Also the reason for not posting earlier is because I didn't read for a few days. The reason is because I was going through a tough time with my youngest dog. He wasn't doing too well and we took him in the other day only to find out he had cancer. A tumor had ruptured and he was internally bleeding to death. There was no possibility to save him, so we had to put him down. It was like loosing one of my kids and it just broke my heart to see him go. So I took a few days off to spend time with him and then say good bye. I am still not feeling the best but I'm being strong and getting back to doing the things that I have been putting off. My writing is going to take some time to return to though, but hopefully that will be in the next few days. We will just have to see. I just started reading again, and hopefully I'll be able to do a post on the book soon. Sorry for the lack of writing I've been doing. Its just been a really tough time for me. Please understand my reasoning and look forward to everything coming up. Hopefully soon I'll be able to do the videos I promised. But until that time, keep waiting patiently.

So until next time......
