Back In The Saddle

I pretty much have all of my Ebooks in order by the alphabet. I just finished the A's and I have moved on to the B's.  Making my first book Back In The Saddle. I think there are two authors for this book, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. But the Ebook I have says that the author is K.F. Breene. I haven't heard of this author nor of this series.  So I'm in for a treat. Especially when I don't even know how I got this book. I really need to pay more attention to my spending habits. But this book only has a little over 200 pages, so I'm expecting a quick read. Might as well jump into it since I have nothing else to do at work since writing Rebellious Love hurts like hell. My wrist needs to heal.

My first reaction with the book is that it was okay with in the first few chapters. Nothing special. City girl leaves home for a job in a small town. Or, at least close to it. But I did like the old lady that our lead female is renting from. I wish all old ladies were like her in real life. Maybe then my grans would be a little less judgey. Anyways, once I got to the grocery store scene, I couldn't help but feel like that the character was so much like I was. Come one, it's the best scene ever so far. Only because I could see myself encounter a hot guy and destroy a display just like our lead female character did. I would follow it to the very last detail. It just makes it that much more interesting to find out what other crazy things this girl is going to end up doing when the hot guy is around. Maybe get lost to the point of a herd of cows going by your car with the hot guy following on horseback. I wonder how this is all going to play out.

So I enjoyed the book. The main female character reminded me so much of myself that I found the book highly relatable. The book was basically her struggles on getting the guy she wanted that was way out of her league. Kind of glad that it worked out in her favor. Even if the book was entirely about her getting the guy. There were a few things that were pretty edge-of-your-seat moments that kept the story going. But I was kind of hoping they would have gotten together sooner in the book instead of at the very end. That would probably be the only thing I would have changed but over all its a good book. It had you asking for more once you got to the end of the book. Only because they hint that everything was just beginning. Sadly I don't have the book, nor am I allowed to get it until I go through all of my other books. Kind of makes me sad in a way. Eventually I will get the second book and I will let you guys know what I think about it as I read it.
