Beautiful Oblivion

7/31/14

I'm fricken excited to read this book. This book has high expectations from me because its supposed to be a run off of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster. Two of my favorite books of all time. No matter how much I read those books, I still end up bawling at the break up scenes. Anyways, I was always curious about Travis Maddox's brothers and how their lives go. Also just reading the back makes me want to read the book. I think I will not be disappointed with this book. I still feel like a crack addict with their next fix. I may have a reading problem. But, I'm going to go off and read the book. Prob finish it in about two days, then I'll be off to read Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon. So until next time....

For those who don't remember what Beautiful Oblivion looks like since I posted something about it in the beginning of the month. Also if you hadn't noticed, I tend to talk about the characters in any book as if they were real people. To me they kind of are. You can say that my books are my best friends in the whole world. Anyways, lets talk Beautiful Oblivion. I pretty much fell in love with the book within the first chapter. Trent is just as charming as his brother Travis. Also instead of betting a girl to live with him, Trent pulls a dirtier trick. He brings in the neighbor's kid. And, I have to say that Olive sounds like a very adorable little girl. Well played Trent, well played. Also Cami is someone I'm ready to smack. Instead of going for a guy that is obviously interested in her and will take time out of his day to spend as much time with her, the girl is stupid to be caught up with a boyfriend that puts his job before her. The girl reminds me of a friend I have who does the same exact thing. Well, her boyfriend doesn't choose a job over her, he more likes to choose other girls over her. My friend I can strangle, Cami I can not. But I would if I could. Anyways, a lot is going on and I'm about halfway through the book. Told you I could finish it in a day. Anyways, I'm to the point that its starting to over lap a little with Beautiful Disaster. I'm still addicted to the love story of Abby and Travis. I'm starting to wish I had a Maddox boy willing to fight to keep me in his life. Those boys now that when they find the girl, they are willing to bring her in and keep her. But, those boys are only fictional and I'm stuck loving a musician. Anyways, I'm going to go finish off the book now. So until next time....

All I have to say is that my mind is completely blown with the ending of the book. I would of never guessed an ending like that. You basically find out who Cami's ex is. But, lets talk about the book before I ruin it and tell you the big secret. You basically don't have to read Beautiful Disaster or Walking Disaster to read this book. Cami and Trent have a pretty easy relationship except for the fact that Cami's ex-friend keeps popping out of nowhere and starts messing with things. The guy couldn't get the hint that she just didn't want him anymore. Trent was about ready to kill the guy. Also it makes sense on why her brother's threw a fit in the beginning when TJ ditched her when you find out the true identity. I'm so tempted to tel you everything, but that would ruin the book and I don't want to do that. I'm happy to say that this book did not disappoint me. I may have also shed a tear or two during the fire scene. Damn. Lizzie McGuire got me again with that scene. Thats the third time in a row. I still have to say that Travis is still my favorite Maddox brother though. Sorry Trent. Anyways, now I don't have to worry about my mom hiding the book on me. I'd still care if she did, but now I won't be rocking back and forth in a corner wondering what happened next in the book. I'm so glad I bought it. I don't think I could return it to the library if I borrowed it from there. I so highly recommend this book and I will for sure force my mom to read it. But, now I must read my library books that I picked up. I'll start with the biggest and that would be Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Yep, another one of her books. I'm almost all caught up, so give me some credit. So until next time...
