My latest library book is a little worn. As if it is well read. Kind of
makes me not want to touch it in fear that it will crumble in my hands.
Anyways, I've read the first book a while back. Like way back. I am not
even sure exactly when. But I do remember that the main character fell
in love when she was really young. She didn't see the guy for years
until he became her college professor. Her feelings had never faded over
the years and their relationship become highly complicated. They
constantly have to keep it a secret until he is no longer her professor.
So the first book is just a constant battle keeping the secret and
being madly in love with each other. I'm not sure what the second book
is about, but if I remember correctly these two secretly got married in
the first book. But I'm ready to see what this book holds and the drama
that will take place. So I'm going to head out and start this book. I'll
even try to grab my iPad so I can read some of Killing Katie, but you
know how my brothers are. Its like as soon as they see me with the iPad,
they have to have it. So until next time.......

Another book I'm dragging my feet on is Gabriel's Rapture. I knew it was
going to take me a while to read this book because it took me forever
to read the first one. I'm not sure why that is, but it is. So far our
two love birds are still in Italy. And I was wrong about the last book.
The two main characters didn't get secretly married, that was a
completely different book. In the first book of this series, our two
character are professor and student. And our leading lady had a crazy
ex-boyfriend who got a rush out of causing her hell. Like he got more
excited with just the thought of almost raping her before Gabriel came
to the rescue. I'm still wondering how this relationship plays out. So
far Gabriel is still highly jealous of other men talking to our leading
lady. And our leading lady tends to feel too insecure to feel like she
is worthy of Gabriel's love. Gotta love that drama.

I'm finally two thirds through the book. I could celebrate because of
it. Anyways, the drama is just rolling in. It seems that one of Julia's
classmates would cause such a mess. She is so determined on ruining
Julia because she didn't get what she wanted. So the drama just keeps
coming as investigations take place and Gabriel sacrifices himself so
that Julia can go to Harvard. Romantic or completely stupid? You decide
on that one. But the terms on keeping his job, he can't be in contact
with Julia anymore. Shocker there. So now the two are over, but we all
know they will get back together. Why else would there be a third book?
Also it wouldn't make it a love story if the two can't overcome the
obstacles to be together. I bet that is what the third book is all
about. These two getting back together and finally having their happily
ever after. So until next time......

Good news, I'm almost done with the book. That means I can read
something else for completely devote my time to reading Killing Katie.
Anyways, things are over with Julia and Gabriel. Well at least that is
what Julia thinks. When in reality, Gabriel ran off to Italy to relive
his happy memories of Julia. He was even walking around wearing a
wedding band saying that he was married. That is true dedication right
there. But now that our two lovers are now together its time to clear
the air. Gabriel explains himself and Julia shares her pain of their
separation. So maybe a I was a little wrong about what the next book is
about, but at least I tried to guess. I won't be able to get the next
book until a few months from now due to such a huge reading list at the
library. So to those who have read the book, don't tell me. Anyways, I
enjoyed the book. Sadly I didn't cry during the break up scene. Maybe if
the scene was more in depth to what Julia and Gabriel were both feeling
during their time apart, maybe then I'd shed a tear or two. That would
probably been the only thing I would of changed in the whole book. But
I'm not the author and I'm sure she had her reasons for things. So until
next time......
