Nash

I admit that I've been a very bad girl. Instead of reading The Edge of Always like I should be, I'm here sitting reading Nash. How could I not read this book after how Rome ended? It was all I could think about. What did Nash do to Saint that made her hate him? Why didn't Phil tell Nash that he was his dad? Why keep it a secret at all? So many questions and only one get answered so far. Apparently back in high school, there was possibly a misunderstanding. I have a feeling there was and Saint just heard Nash talking about some other girl. Saint just naturally assumed because of her low self-esteem. If only she knew that Nash figured that she was out of his league and not the other way around. Anyways, apparently Nash avoids everyone for a week because of the news that was just thrown on his lap. Everyone is trying to make him come to his senses and spend what little time he has left with Phil. Saint even breaks rules in order to snap him out of it. Sure she gets assaulted with the best kiss ever, but at least the girl tried. It takes Rule storming in Nash's place for the guy to get up and get out. Not like he had any choice because I guess Rule looked ready to beat some sense into the guy. So until next time.....

I'm still being naughty, but I just can't seem to put the book down at the moment. Now I know why I'm not allowed to get these books until I read a certain amount of other books. I read two to get this one and I didn't even finish the second one yet. So you can say I read one and a half. Hopefully I will read more books before Rowdy comes out, because I may have preordered it without anyone knowing. Opps. It was a moment of weakness. Anyways, Nash finally goes to see Phil. Granted he has no idea what to say, and I don't blame him. Not everyone finds out that their supposed uncle ends up being their dad. Nash tried hard not to yell at the guy like there was no end, but Phil pretty much dropped another bomb on Nash. Apparently Nash now owns a tattoo shop, and is in charge of opening a second one. Rule is also supposed to be his business partner. Phil sure knows how to shock the boys lately. Anyways, Nash goes to apologize to Saint. She is pretty much speechless and he kind of takes it the wrong way. Oh well. She ends up assaulting him with the best kiss ever a few days later anyways. Nash also finds out that Phil isn't going to tell him why the truth was kept from him. Apparently it is Nash's mother's story to tell. But, Phil does admit that he was in love with Nash's mom. I guess she just didn't want the time or day with Phil. Such a shame. But before the heart to heart with Phil, Nash asked Saint to go with him to Rule's wedding. Saint was planning on not going but her Christmas plans changed when her sister decided to run off with her family. Scared to face her parents by herself, Saint agrees to go with Nash. Sadly her boss doesn't think its a good idea and tries to hook her up with a doctor at the hospital. Really her boss just needs to stay out of the girl's business. Anyways, Saint goes to the wedding and ends up freaking out and almost left Nash with out a word. Good thing Phil was keeping an eye out for his son and told him that Saint was on the move. Nash did the right thing and chased after her, only to end up at his place. He was kind of upset that she would bolt on him, and she ended up being upset that he was upset. Saint ended up attacking Nash in a very sexual way. He wants to find out what is with her, and she is trying to wrap her head around on why he's different from what she remembered. I'm also beginning these two tend to get sexual when they are emotionally overwhelmed. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. So until next time.....

Alright, I'm just going to jump in about the book. Only because this series is known for having a lot happen in such a short amount of time. So I will start by saying Saint had her way with Nash and then left him high and dry. She moved so fast that by the time he was able to make it into the hallway of the apartment building, she was long gone. Which lead to him getting some advice from his mysterious new neighbor. Nash just doesn't know what to think. Saint can't stop thinking about her little stunt either, even when she goes on her dreaded date with the doctor. She can't help but pick out the differences between men. So she gets to the party that she is supposed to be at with the good doctor. Only the good doctor is nothing but wanting to have the best date at the party. Saint quickly realizes that its a party where they try to out due each other. Its like high school all over again. But she decides that she has had enough and calls Nash to come rescue her. Then she tells off the good doctor, basically stating that she isn't just some show piece. I'm basically saying, 'you go girl'. She practically jumps into Nash's car, they go to her house, and Nash and her do the naughty. Basically its a sex scene full of insecurities and exploring each others boundaries. More like exploring Saint's boundaries. I don't think Nash has any. The next day, instead of enjoying the fact that she has Nash sleeping next to her, she gets called into work. Nash took that as a cue to leave, so he did. The guy could of put up a fight or something. Anyways, during the time they are apart, Saint sends Nash some flowers. My thought is 'shouldn't he be sending the flowers?' but who am I to judge. If that is the way Jay Crownover wanted to write her book, then let her write her book that way. I'm just the crazy person who thinks books are real. Anyways, after bailing her mom out of jail Saint finally calls Nash. They end up getting together where he takes her to the garage where he works on his charger from time to time. How romantic....Not. But like I said, I'm not here to judge. I love the book either way. But I have to put the book down, sadly. I have packing to do because my vacation is coming to an end. I just hope I don't try to kill my family the first day I'm home. That would be bad. So until next time......

The funny thing about the internet going out is that I didn't enjoy reading as much. Probably because I couldn't talk to my mother and couldn't explain what was going on. This is when I really wish I had a phone. Stupid Sprint. Anyways, I'm surprisingly not finished with Nash yet. I have about a quarter of it left and I just know the heart breaking moment is coming up. Also I just finished reading the peak at Salem Cruz, the leading lady for Rowdy. Just made me super excited for the book to come out. Anyways, we are here to talk about Nash and not Rowdy. So I'm not sure where I left off honestly. Oh now I remember! They were having their date at a car garage, and I have to admit that it actually ends up being kind of romantic. Nash pretty much lets Saint into his world a little bit, but you'll have to read to find out. Then it leads to something that Saint always wanted to do in high school but never had the chance. She wanted to have sex in a car. This also inspires Nash to let her live out everything she missed in high school. But with all good things put aside, including the start of the new shop, Nash goes to see his mother. The boy is ready for some damn answers. He gets them and I kind of want to hit the woman. I'm not surprised that Nash ends up furious with her. I would be to if she admitted that she didn't want me because of who my father was. What a bitch. Luckly he had Saint to help him get his mind off of the conversation and make him all warm and fuzzy inside. I know somewhere around this part Nash pretty much told Saint that she was either all in it like he was, or she could just leave him the hell alone. It might of been after the whole ice skating date, but I'm not sure. Anyways, Nash's hands get fuller as Phil gets sicker. He knows he has to spend as much time as he can with Phil because he knows that his time with him is limited. Poor Nash. Anyways, Saint was nice enough to help out with Phil. So Nash returns the favor by helping her out with her nieces and nephews, which Saint's sister didn't like at all. Anyways, my phone died again so I have to let it charge before I can finish Nash. So until next time.....

So I just finished Nash this morning, which makes me sad. And as always I love the book as much as every book in the series. Now I don't think I can wait until Rowdy comes out, even if it only like five days ways. I feel like I need the book now. Anyways, lets talk about the final moments of Nash. The book almost went with out any heartbreaking moments where the relationship is on the line. But from what Saint walked in on, I actually thought the same thing she did. I even would of reacted the same way. Nash went after her when she tried to leave and explain. That is when she should of mention that she did call and he didn't answer. So she flees town, even the state. Has a wonderful heart to heart with her mom. Heads back home only to find out that Nash is at the worst part in his life because Phil is fading fast. So she practically tackles him when he answers the door, saying how sorry she was. The Saint stayed by Nash's side through the passing and funeral arrangements. Also I still think Nash's mom is a bitch and his stepdad is an ass. They even had the nerve to show up at Phil's funeral after saying all those horrible things about him. I also agree with Nash, his mom should of just let Phil have him and be done with it. I'm still mad about what she said to Nash when he went to get answers. Anyways, everything is pretty dandy. Nash named the new shop after Saint, I honestly thought he was going to propose. Nash hires Salem which really turned Rowdy's world upside down and that is pretty much where Jay Crownover left it off. In my mind I was screaming "No! You can't do this to me!" and I might have quickly texted my mom saying to make sure that money is in my account so I can get Rowdy when it comes out. I love this series too much, sadly none of the guys became my fictional boyfriend. But I did fall in love with one of Colleen Hoover's characters. I think I have a thing for extremely complicated guys. So until next time......
